Cumplimos un año de nuestra serie de podcast y lo hacemos con la sesión que se grabó en directo del señor Oliver Rosemann en nuestro último evento de SYNTH Techno Club el pasado mes de octubre.

Oliver Rosemann es unos de los productores en activo más prolíficos del momento, con lanzamientos en todos los grandes sellos del género y en su propio sello Recorded Things, se encuentra en uno de los momentos más dulces de su carrera y que tuvimos el gran placer de contar con nosotros.

Bio:
Oliver Rosemann is a DJ and producer from Leipzig, who has been active since the 90’s. During this time, he has made his experience with timeless techno exactly in the time of its creation, which can be seen later in his productions and DJ Sets. In the Leipzig scene he played numerous live sets in the early 2000s, including at the 1040, one of the legendary clubs of the time. Increasingly, he began to show himself in public not only as a pure live act but also as a track producer. He oriented himself out of the local scene and tried to place his music directly internationally. With the collaboration with MasCon called "dualit" he had first big releases on labels like Earwiggle, CLR or Fith Wall Records and also international gigs e.g. in Antwerp. But after that his solo project should be in the foreground again. Oliver got his own EP on Sunil Sharpe's label Earwiggle. The "Pointing from the Moon EP" was released, which was the starting signal for numerous following releases. To date, there are close to 180 tracks and remixes, including 3 LPs, released on labels such as MindTrip, MORD Records, Warm Up Recordings, Pole Group, Stockholm LTD and many more. Another promising collaboration was to follow. Pfirter and Oliver started producing together in 2019 and presented their first joint 4 tracker “Alpha EP” in 2020 on MindTrip Music and it was a huge success. To date, the collaboration of the two includes several releases and there will be a few more. Oliver is also present on stage. Whether as a live act or as a DJ, he knows how to create a dark, driving, ecstatic atmosphere on dance floors. He has already proven this in clubs like Tresor Berlin, Distillery, Institut für Zukunft, About Blanc and also in other countries in Europe. Numerous podcasts recorded by him or live cuts from parties, which were released over the years by renowned crews such as "Reclaim Your City" or "Staub", show this. In 2021 he founded his own record label "Recorded Things", which he now runs together with Sebastian Rothermel. Also, here, his sound, which he produces or DJs, is formative and reflects what kind of techno he stands for. The latest release here is a new collaboration between Oliver and Alexander Kowalski

Silent effort, however, breeds introspection, concentration, and resilience. It helps you enjoy your work to align it closer to your inner self. It enables progress purely on intrinsic motivation, without external validation.

While applause is flattering, it's fleeting. Instead, distinction is seldom a matter of luck or overnight success.

It involves maintaining steady enthusiasm, consistency, and regular progress. It keeps you anchored and engaged in your growth regardless of detours or hurdles. When you consistently perform well, you command respect without speaking a word. Your success becomes the best testament to your commitment, sweating out in speechlessness, far louder and more effective than any proclamation.

Let your efforts be the loudest report of your untiring discipline, building character, and achieving your goals while preserving your inner peace. Your victory will be sweeter, will stem for you rather than a clapping. So, stay determined to yourself, work hard in silence, and let your art make the noise.

▸ When techno is in your DNA you don't need additional translation to understand it. This is the case of Hugo Rolan, from Asturias, north of Spain, who has been exposed to techno and futuristic sounds since his adolescence, and now in his maturity, he masters the language to perfection.

Being primarily DJing for two decades, remaining under the radar of the scene, working in conventional day job. In his spare time, he learned production skills, delving into music creation software and hardware, and training hard and quietly until he felt it was time to public his work.

The wait worth it, in 2022 his first work was published on one of the most recognized ceiling labels, Warm Up, managed by Oscar Mulero, a interesting debut album, full of techno.

His second reference is released on one of the most important labels worldwide, Axis Records, owned by Jeff Mills, a work that makes us get closer to his creativity and gives us an idea of where his sound is heading.

Facilitating him works on Incense, Legend 1997, Illegal Alien, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, SUB_tl, Prophet, Semantica, FautSection, Abstract Mechanisms, Edit Select, Fenómenos, West Rules, KeyHole, Voyager and Loopaina Records.

Lanna Club's resident, and example of a true techno lover, loving carefully until the right moment puts him in the desired place.

The latest podcast features Fixeer, one of the most well known Mexican DJs and producers on the global techno scene and member of Illegal Alien Records. Currently and for the last 20 years he has trained as a teacher to several generations of DJs and producers in Mexico, at the G Martell Music University.

He also develops his career as an event producer with “From Mini to Tech”, where he has invited artists such as Truncate, Rebekah, Oscar Mulero, Developer, Tommy Four Seven, and more. 

His productions have taken his tracks to the most recognized dance floors and clubs from around the globe with the likes of Ben Sims, Pfirter, Kr!z, Oscar Mulero, Lewis Fawtzi, James Ruskin, DVS1, Sleeparchive, Kessell, Tensal, Dimi Angelis, SLAM, and others.

At the end of 2017, he launched his own label called “Human Recs.” signing new talents and already established artists within international Techno music. 

He has published his music on major labels around the world such as: Aine (Pole Group Sub label), SOMA, Granulart Recordings, Suara, Tsunami Records, Faut Section, MindTrip, Dynamic Reflection, Newrhythmic Recs, Analog Solutions, ANAOH, Animal Farm, Injected Poison, Spectral Rebel etc.

Ribé nació y creció en la sierra de Madrid, en un entorno alejado de la gran urbe, rodeado de naturaleza, observando la ciudad desde las alturas bajo la luz de un manto de estrellas. 

Le encanta encerrarse en el estudio, sumirse en el caos para encontrar el equilibrio. Para eso utiliza su propio método de trabajo. Primero elige los sintetizadores, graba sin restricciones todo lo que va surgiendo, más tarde edita, secuencia y por último termina la faena mezclando. Sus 20 años trabajando con Protools, le ha transformado en un experto en la edición de audio, aprovechando y exprimiendo cada audio grabado al máximo. 

Gracias a esta disciplina Ribé ha logrado trabajos de una calidad incuestionable como Acute EP - Aine (Polegroup sub label), Harmonic Rain Ep + Tested Signal LP (Nonplus records) , Palette Ep (Warm up), Las Noches LP (Polegroup), Order in Chaos LP (Axis), Nom de Plume EP (Faut Section), Klockworks 035 - Con Roll Dann, El Camino EP (Semantica), La penumbra EP (Polegroup) y La Tempestad EP (Eartoground). Además ha colaborado con sellos como Hayes, Token, Mord, Tremsix, Non Series…

Aunque una de sus pasiones sea la producción, cuando Ribé se sube a una cabina demuestra todo su potencial. Su actitud, su ecualización, su empatía frente a la mesa de mezclas o realizando un live, le ha llevado a recorrer medio mundo siendo protagonista en clubs y festivales. Aquasella Festival(SP), Uptodate Festival (Polonia), Tresor(Berlin), RSO(Berlin), Tama(Polonia), Mondo(Madrid), Utopía(Madrid), Khidi(Georgia), Melkweg(Amsterdam), Lanna(Gijon), Garage y Razzmatazz(BCN), Metro Dance Club(Alicante), Family Club(Toledo) o Prisma(Sevilla) son algunos de los espacios donde Ribé ha dejado su marca.

El pasado año Ribé ha participado en los Showcase de Polegroup, eventos que han encandilado a los amantes de techno y que han sido alabados por la crítica especializada. Además de sus releases en Pole, ha conseguido un sueño que llevaba persiguiendo desde hace más de una década: publicar en Klockworks. 

Se podría asegurar que Ribé es techno puro, aunque hoy en día la definición de techno es un poco ambigua, Ribé sigue fiel a su sentimiento, a las raíces de este sonido.

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Spanish dj & producer PWCCA  (Hardtools Records / Inducted Waves).

PWCCA aka Dr Cyanide, born in Madrid on April 26, 1979.
He started in the world of electronic music in 1995, he took his first contact with some dishes in a pub located in his area, driven by a friend who worked in it.
Firstly, he showed progressive and house sounds, but not take long to opt for more underground trends, influenced by large techno producers such as James Ruskin, Richard Polson, Christian Wünsch, Portion reform, Regis or Surgeon among others.
In 1996 and is interested in how to produce electronic music using software and hardware, creating his first beats with a Roland TR 606 and the software for rhythms "Hammer". 
From that year until 2000, he works as a DJ in various clubs around the city and also gaining experience as a producer.
That same year put into operation with another partner, the only franchise from the famous brand Phrenetic Society, owned by Cristian Varela, where he taught in school and teacher in production Dj midi / audio, adding to these activities, the sale of music and clothes.
This is when he decided to create with his partner, his own record label, called Hardtools, giving life vinyl two references to the brand.
In 2005 lost contact with the technics, leaving only time to assimilate knowledge as a producer.
Currently it has returned to give life to his label Hardtools, this time digitally, also adding the creation of two other brands for the same function, Basic Form and UK Executes.
Today we are thrilled to bring you his latest set of techno fueled madness ready to destroy speakers everywhere! 🔥🔥🔥
