The only role I have played in this song is that of organising others to contribute their extraordinary skills.  From Bri and Terry's original, Tom and Gernot's atmospheric virtuosity and Adrian's sheer finesse at the mixing desk, all of the credit goes to those who have actually worked on the track. B.B. King recorded his version of "The Thrill Is Gone" in June 1969 for his album "Completely Well". 
It earned him a Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance in 1970 and a Grammy Hall of Fame award in 1998. King's version of the song was also placed at number 183 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time. 
Hope you like this cover and collaboration work with a great Jazz and Blues Singer Ms King.

Paul threw this Stevie Ray Vaughn type track up for people to join in, allowing me the great pleasure to jump in once again.  Got that great Jimmy McGriff organ sound going on the keys for this.  Great blues track Paul  - sweet playing on everything!

The piano cloud, a worldwide piano group I am a member of, is currently running an "Odd Time Signature" challenge. Admittedly, I don't use odd time signatures at all, so this was quite a challenge, as it threw me to have an extra beat in each bar!! I chose 5/4 & hence the name Five Four. I love jazz stylings, so I went with that genre on this piece. Enjoy!!
