It's hard for me to wrap my head around this
It's hard, it's hard for me to accept this state of grace
baby boy growing in my eldest daughter
Life has led me to cross another border
Waiting at the crossroad to see his smiling face

I never, never thought i would cut it to the chase
tarried, married, propagated and harried
I've been out in the weeds and I almost was buried
