The intention of Cosmic Rendezvous was to create a easy going disco/pop song and I think the result is quite acceptable.

Born and raised in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Former DJ now a father of three, just recently found out that creating music with headphones somehow magically silences all of the usual daily commotion. 😁 Now seriously... I know it's not anything groundbreaking but I really do hope you like it. Im starting every song with just a simple beat and see where it leads me. Hope you enjoy the journey!
My musical preferences are house, electro, italo, synthwave so my songs are heavily influenced by it.

As a retired DOD Civil Service worker, I have time to record some. I have been recording at home sice around 1990 and some of my tracks are very old.  I‘ve had 50+ years in bands playing music of many types. I still play the club scene 3 to 4 times a month. Life is good!

Como trabajador jubilado del Servicio Civil del Departamento de Defensa, tengo tiempo para registrar algunos. He estado grabando en casa durante unos 23 años y algunas de mis pistas son muy antiguas. He tenido más de 50 años en bandas tocando música de muchos tipos. Todavía juego en la escena del club de 3 a 4 veces al mes. ¡La vida es buena! Soy un guitarrista al que le gusta escribir, grabar y cantar muchos estilos de música. Por favor, echa un vistazo a mis pistas. También estoy disfrutando de las colaboraciones ocasionales. Project Isolar was created as a platform for all creativity by Gert-Inge Nilsson (b.1971) born and raised in Sweden. At a very early age Gert-Inge Nilsson began singing in the children's choir at a local church at age of six. Private singing lessons began at age of eight. Gert-Inge is trained in classical music singing both opera and German lieder and is a tenor. In  1994 Gert-Inge joined fellow musicians Bengt Rosberg and Peter Hallbäck to form a prog rock band called Domino. The band members began to go separate ways musically a few years later. It was then when Gert-Inge had joined a theater (1997) for a leading role, he began to write his own music to the play "Mans kvinna" by famous swedish writer Vilhelm Moberg performed by Kullateatern in Höganäs. 


Gert-Inge choosed to study and got a degree in social psychology and social work and has since 2005 worked as a social worker in Sweden. The love for the music and the need to express himself in a creative way has always been there along with studies and work. Gert-Inge decided to call himself Project Isolar when he wrote music. Project Isolar is in a way Gert-Inge´s inner journey for the love of music, expressing emotions both the joyful and the dark side of man. Somehow the music reflects the people he has met trough work who have been on the rand of despair. His own journey is well described in the music and as well in the art he performs. The spiritual journey Gert-Inge has done the last ten years has resulted in him becoming a Reiki therapeut. 


Project Isolar is inspired by several great musicians. Among those are David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Daft punk, Röyksopp, Orbital and Future sound of London. In fact Isolar was also the name of the 1978 tour by David Bowie.
