The Beast Within Remixed is the follow-up to Brazilian producer Diego Garcia's debut album of the same name, which was released in 2022 on the Queer Berlin label VRAAA Records under the aliases Projekt Gestalten and The Princess of Death. Diego's friends Deepneue, Inland, Elad Magdasi, Marthial, The Allegorist, Elle Dee, Lifka,and Lady Tazz remixed nine of the tracks, this being Lady Tazz's first time remixing.The project was inspired by the original score from the point-and-click adventure game "Gabriel Knight II -The Beast Within"from the 1990s, which resulted in a number of ambient variations of Diego's remixes. The original music by American composer Robert Holmes was reimagined with Mr. Holmes' permission under the identities of The Princess of Death and Projekt Gestalten. In addition, it features studio versions of a few of the songs they performed at their concert inside Berlin's renowned St. Marienkirche church the previous year.

“This release is divided into two parts: the dance mixes from the original tracks from my album and the ambient mixes taken from the original music from the adventure game this album is based: Gabriel Knight II -The Beast Within. It was a pleasure to rework these themes that are forever imprinted into my brain and add a contemporary edge into it.”

“The Beast Within” is the title track from the debut album from Brazilian producer and DJ, Diego Garcia on their own imprint, VRAAA Records; a queer label from Berlin. In the album, Diego alternates between both of their Projekt Gestalten and The Princess of Death aliases in order to create original pieces of music inspired by a point-and-click adventure game from the 90’s. As Projekt Gestalten, an array of dance tracks are functionally presented; dissecting a more rational aspect from the game's storyline. In contrast, The Princess of Death goes into an ambient and experimental approach; exploring liturgical themes. In the end, the gender polarizing concept is extrapolated and both aliases are finally merged into one another; leading to the Gestalt principle, alluded to in Diego's main alias, being fully applied as a whole.

"The Beast Within" will be released on 25 of February of 2022 on a heavy-weight 180g double vinyl edition and also on digital format.

Projekt Gestalten, a celebrated figurehead within the queer techno scene has remixed the track „Disillusion Echoes“ by The Allegorist, the storyteller.

The Projekt Gestalten revision of the track Disillusion Echoes (taken from the album Hybrid Dimension II. by The Allegorist) expands the idea of the original composition by supporting the melancholic chord progression with a new string section and highlighting the story, told by the soulful vocal cries. The pulsing techno elements not only give the track a new drive but also create a new atmosphere for the multidimensional emotion to thrive. They whirl up our rusty bones and create a space for the listener to embrace the feelings of loss, hope, and the love of life.

Projekt Gestalten remixes the eurodance Ukrainian band, Aqua Vita; transforming their 1997 hit, "A Teper Use Inakshe" into a techno anthem. There is a vocal remix and also a dub version. These brand new versions has the approval from the band and are being officially released by their label, Moon Records as well.

All of the money raised here will be donated to Ukraine Pride; an organisation for Queer Ukrainians affected by the war.

"He Bleeds Stories EP" is the first vinyl release on VRAAA Records, a techno label with the aim of queer-up the genre and it was produced by techno diva, Projekt Gestalten. The title track is a pounding peak-hour techno piece with a solid build-up, and dramatic strings. The second original track, “Just Keep Going” goes into a more acid, hypnotic and darker direction. Each track was remixed by projects with contrasting gender identities: the fabulous German selector Anja Zaube, giving a feminine perspective and the heavyweight techno duo I/Y, representing the masculine side. Unfortunately, the I/Y project is parting ways and this is their last official release being put out.
