Music and art, body and soul, people and technology, future and contemporality. Techno means for us a symbiosis of sensitive and physical experiences. Only a combination of several sensory impressions allows the experience to be taken to the next level. A dualism of body and soul. At our events we want to bring all these perceptions together. From high quality techno music and impressive soul effects in a safer enviroment to enjoy the art. Our focus is on the timeless, the aesthetic & the connecting. This is what we want to represent and to convey through our events. From our point of view, community means a louder, fairer and equal togetherness. We have nothing less than the ambition to connect you, and we are aware that we will have to raise a lot of noise along the way.

MØNØSTEP set a milestone in his career with the founding of Codec 992 in 2016.

In collaboration with artists like Buried Secrets, Henning Baer, Illnurse, Inhalt der Nacht, Matrixxman, Radio Slave and Stanislav Tolkachev, the first releases were created on the label. Numerous support has been provided over the years by artists such as Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Dax J, Introversion, Parallx, Paula Temple and Rebekah.

New Faces hosted by Codec 992 was their first event at Tresor Berlin in 2022. Their radio show "Codec 992 Invites" on Wüste Welle, which has been available since 2019, has also become an integral part of the scene.

Due to many gigs in different locations, clubs and festivals, the 29 year old is able to intensify his vision of techno.

Codec 992 is a label for electronic music, events and podcast series based in Berlin, Germany.

Head of the queer identifying VRAAA label and a celebrated protagonist in Berlin’s nightlife, both Projekt Gestalten is the identity of Brazilian producer and DJ, Diego Garcia. Adorning their DJ sets in various forms of white wedding dresses and baroque embroidery, Projekt Gestalten’s queer desire and bold feminine spirit flaunts a unrivaled promiscuity of tongue-in-cheek tawdry that’s pushing techno music and its artistic, sexual appetites that much further.  Having found pride of place as an established entity controlling soundtracks at risque nightspots and parties the world over - namely making their way through London, St. Petersburg and New York to São Paulo and Paris - Diego Garcia’s emergence from the obscure raves of Berlin and its presiding internet culture now sees the artist, with a burgeoning discography and remix catalogue for the reckoning, as an out and loud center stage presence and trailblazing queer, music identity.

A long-time party participant and enthusiastic dancer with roots on the East coast, Mark Shephard is an avid fan of energetic dancefloors and unrestrained rave music. A love for big synth riffs, rough drum machine grooves and a penchant for digging up gems from dance music’s rich history is displayed in selections, with a style that ranges from techno and trance through all sorts of electro, breaks, and jungle. While living in Tokyo, he organized the multi-genre Acid Gakko party series with an emphasis on live hardware performance, bespoke visuals and underground talent.
