Joining the prog-parade full steam ahead, the 3 tracker dabbles in tech trance activity with a bonus remix from Berlin’s backbone Mor Elian. The enigmatic newcomer showcases mature structural bliss, crafted for moments of subconscious synchronicity between the DJ and their dancers.

The B Side stands alone tall and proud; Larp feels like a climax at the party. Sirens flaring high as hell, the rise and fall of the bassline bouncing in tandem with driving drums, only stopping for a dramatic drumroll. During the winter period of 2022, Arnaud is Dancing composed 3 tracks which has culminated in Plasma Mission, transcribing the emotionally charged and turbulent experience that is post covid clubs. Inspired by a night out in a Local Nantes Club Macadam, where time seems to simply evaporate, these tracks fuse feelings of nostalgia coupled with zealous energy.

Between heavily programmed basslines and discrete acid leads, Arnaud's 3 tracks are impassioned, zesty & bouncy, morphing into ecstatic and fiery d-floor bangers.

To round out the EP, we are rapt to have Melbourne/Naarm based Homelander contribute a dark psy-infused twist on Arnaud's 'Signal Racer' & an upbeat modern trance take on Arnaud's title track 'Plasma Mission' remixed by UK based Shawn Cartier & Comic Book Guy.

From its beginnings as a reissue label, @sprayforever has always been guided by an insatiable appetite for proggy dance music. If excavating long-forgotten gems weren’t enough though, the Irishman behind it all emerged from the fever dream that was lockdown a fully-realised producer/DJ entity. Also taking the name for his alias, Spray comes forth with a typically fractal offering. 

Insistent throb and propulsive, direct drive underpin the A-side. Where ’VT Trad’ opts for nebulous, cosmic detail and shadowy flex, ‘Q3projz’ surfaces a more utopian take on the blueprint. 

‘Zippycher’ then comes flush with wide-eyed radiance; a buoyant, lysergic rite primed for collective physical experience. ‘Slipped’, on the other hand, recalls early ‘90s Art Of Trance while sidestepping revivalist tags. Proper third portal business.
