2011年4月より現場での活動をスタート。彼独自の思考でフロアの読みながら最適なチューニングを心掛け、その範囲で自由奔放さを大いに出してくるプレイスタイルに自信を持つDJの1人だ。
2012年に代官山AIRでスタートした彼が主宰を手掛けるBroadは、海外・国内の多方面からアーティストを迎える雑食スタイルで、現在も開催を続けている。
2016年、Dino Sabatini主宰イタリアのOutis Musicを皮切りに、東欧ジョージア、ドイツ、韓国、北九州からPodcastをリリース。
2020年春、以前から強く惹かれていた福岡へ拠点を移す。Kieth Flackや北九州sound space αを中心に新たな活動をスタートさせた。

1. このミックスはどちらで収録したものですか？

今年8月、福岡のKieth Flackにて開催されたotonohaでプレイした時のLive Mixです。
使った機材はターンテーブル2台、CDJ2台、パイオニアDJM900ミキサーです。
昨年25周年を迎えた代表箱Kieth Flackは、2階のメインフロア、1階のラウンジ空間あるフロアで2つの楽しみ方が出来ます。来福した際には是非、訪れて欲しい場所です。


2. コンセプトがあれば教えてください。

新譜〜90年代の旧譜まで、ミニマルやハウスをベースにしたセットです。
前半は音数の少ない状態をキープしつつ、踊りに集中させる空間を意識しましたが、中盤は少々ハードな展開になってしまったので、気分を上げたい時に是非！


3. 最近の活動を教えてください。

2020年から福岡を拠点に活動しています。
それまで9年間、東京にいましたが、3〜4年前から各地へ遊びに行くようになり、現地のシーンや街の雰囲気に強く惹かれたことがきっかけで、自分に合う環境や将来の目標をじっくり再整理し、福岡への移住を決めました。
現在、北九州のsound space αで月1開催のUndulate、そして福岡のKieth Flackにて同世代で新しく始めたhospitality、その他のパーティも含めて月2〜3本プレイさせて頂いています。
今後は、自分のパーティBroadも、こちらで開催したいと考えてます。

Winter is coming and Berlin is experiencing a second lockdown since the start of the pandemic to the beginning of the year. 

Oh what a year it could have been, looking back to February when we started into 2020 with a big bang, hosting the first of six of our showcase parties at Wilde Renate that turned out to be the first and only one for this year. 

We could fall into the depression of self-pity and only focus on what could have been, but we would not be Loser Records if we could not laugh at our failures, take a step back and enjoy the bright side of things. 

Hands-down, one of our favorite moments of 2020 was to have Mountain People on board as a headliner for our showcase party and enjoying a wild night together at the green floor of Wilde Renate. So we thought let’s refreshen our memories, focus ourselves in the positive parts of 2020 and invite The Mountain People for this month's podcast, which is their first home DJ mix in years.

The Mountain People are a Swiss DJ and producer duo consisting of Serafin and Andre Rozzo and managed to gain a cult status in the scene, mainly known for their extraordinary releases on their same name label.

Even though the high times of minimal house seem over these days, The Mountain People constantly proves that minimal house can be timeless if you carefully add the right ingredients into the mix. And the right ingredients they most certainly found since early on: Hypnotic percussions, deep and dubby grooves, rolling baselines and modulating filters and reverbs just in the right spot at the right time. Every single release on their label feels timeless in deed and comes with a 100% guarantee to keep the dance floor going, presented on a proper sound system that is capable of handling the deep end of their compositions.

So it does not come with a big surprise that they are not only excellent as producers, but as DJs as well. Their rather rare DJ sets never disappoint, hypnotizing the crowd by delivering seamless transitions and pulling it into a deep, mind alerting bubble of sound that you will not want to escape any time soon.

We feel humbled to have The Mountain People on board for or podcast series and hope to meet again in person, once the pandemic has settled.
