After previously remixing the likes of Djuma Soundsystem on this label, Kostakis now steps up with his own new single and gets remixed by Monkey Safari.

Kostakis is a producer renowned for his meticulously constructed musical works, he often produces with fellow Get Physical artist and South African house pioneer Ryan Murgatroyd with his current remix for Ryan of “Wicked Eyes” gaining support from Solomun, Tale Of Us and Adriatique to name a few.

‘The Taking’ is a beautifully lithe and elastic track, with dreamy, soft focus chords riding up and down the scales. Warm vocal sounds melt into the mix and the whole thing is designed to infuse a dance floor with real electronic soul.

The German Monkey Safari duo are party boys with a real knack for groove. They have gone from local heroes to international stars thanks to their work on their own Hommage label as well as the likes of Bedrock and are in fine form here. Their remix is a little more edgy, with tortured synths drawn out over the elongated grooves. It makes for a darker, more introverted mood to compliment the fine original. Last of all, a glowing, harmonic Remix Edit completes the package in emotionally resonant fashion.

This is another fresh take on house music from Get Physical.

Ahmad aka. Quatri has developed into one of the most promising young artists in this industry. It is a truly wonderful thing, to find a raw diamond, that is open to listen and focus on the sound you try to help form through words and references. Starting from day one back in 2017, Ahmad was paying attention to all these words, understanding and creating his own idea of the sound we asked for. We are now at a point, where Quatri has not only listened, but immensely guided the sound of Nie Wieder Schlafen. A special bond, that will continue to grow and evolve. 

"Fjara" gives a good picture of how far Quatri and Nie Wieder Schlafen have come. And don't you dare think we have reached our goals - we have still so much to explore. "Leviathan" is a production, that tells the story of the sounds we have gone through the last months. A production bringing together the different moods, that continue to fascinte us. A tammed beast - smooth yet dangerous, elegant yet rough :  A sound with an undefined emotion - a feeling of excitement and mystery, balanced between the dark and the bright. Enjoy.

With almost 30 years of releasing records under his belt, Dino Lenny has naturally built an incredible back catalogue of productions, remixes and collaborations. 

He’s worked with some of the biggest names in the business, yet his own productiaons retain a distinct, personal style that is all his own. 

With Camouflaged, Lenny drops polished, groovy dance music that will light up many floors this year. 

The original version rides a solid motorik beat, allowing for moody piano elements and a haunting vocal to take the track to another level. 

Lenny’s sense for drama and space is preserved on the Black and White mix, but with a straighter house groove aimed firmly at the late night dancers. 

Hafendisko regular Brynjolfur also adds his own interpretation of Camouflaged - a driving electronic workout with a filthy, mutating bassline and dramatic pads.

Looking towards the peak summer season, we are thrilled to jumpstart July with the return of Jim Rider to XYZ. The Brit is a seasoned veteran of the industry, and has been a key figure in London’s thriving scene throughout the years as both a producer and promoter.

After an extended break from the studio, Jim has revived his artistic drive in incredible fashion. Over the last six months alone, he’s had an EP on Lee Burridge’s surging Tale & Tone, a pair of productions on our Blanche VA, the launch of his own label, and a sumptuous EP on the famed Kindisch . Rider has a firm grasp on the attention of the dance community’s most influential tastemakers, as he continues to unveil a distinct studio prowess. 

For his return to XYZ, Jim has come together with compatriot Mizbee on vocal duty to present a boastful A-side. With appearances on the likes of Toolroom, Hot Creations, and Suara, Mizbee is well versed in the art of alighting a production with powerful vocal work. Ada rides a house kick, with a drumline opening up to a light melody. Mizbee’s sultry tones connect with the bassline, offering exalted prose. Synths and rising percussions elevate energy on the way to Jim’s signature lighthearted groove finding full force.
