The prominent Swedish duo of Elfenberg(@elfenberg) returns to the label after featuring with the wicked “Kebabsyra”on Rotten Citizens (@rotten-city-records) Compilation Vol.4. They've recently released music on labels such as Les Yeux Orange, Feines Tier and Hard Fist. The return to Rotten City will see the light of the long awaited “Elfenboogie EP”, containing three powerful peak time tracks with all the flavors they like: Acid, Disco and Tribal vibes.
“Vasta La Hista” is a clear example of a club bomb. Direct, raw, and psychedelic. 100% effective but non generic!

“Acid Cocoon’” dig into the darker vibes with a spooky and sexy female voice in a “Post-Electroclash” exercise.
With “Elfenboogie” they show us again their favorite elements; Percussion, drive, a soulful vocal and some random weirdness to top it off. "Let's do the Elfenboogie", "Come n Elfenboogie with us”, they always joked around with the term, that now is the title track on this very EP.

The release is complemented with a remix from Julian Sanza & Alvaro Cabana Remix. Both DJs residents at Kaputt Club (Bogotá) joining forces again to turn the Classic Disco vibe of “Elfenboogie” into a trippy and cosmic interpretation.

Today we have the pleasure to present you the third free download of our channel, a great edit from Ricardo Villalobos track "Easy Lee" included in his album "Alcachofa" released on 2003. This special version has been retouched by talented Argentinean producers Last Men On Earth, who managed to transform it into a quality gem that show us some of the sounds and influences that inspire and define their project. This edit has been supported by the likes of Aera, Santiago Garcia, among others and it has become one of the most desired tracks posted on our page during the last months. Roland Leesker drops second single 'Let It All Go' feat. Dan Diamond from his upcoming artist album.

Get Physical Music's Roland Leesker has been the powerhouse behind the imprint for many years. The German tastemaker has not only curated the label's output, but has helped define it with his own music. Whether working solo or in collaboration with icons like DJ Pierre, Roland Clark and Terrence Parker, his sounds have a timeless quality that matches that of his DJ sets. After helming the label's 20th-anniversary compilation back in 2022, he will return in August with a full LP, ‘Searching For Peace’.

There is great craft in the epic eight-minute 'Let It All Go' feat. Dan Diamond - a chugging disco-house track with great structure that soon sweeps you up as the hip-swinging drums and tumbling arps drag you in deep. The spoken word vocals muse on the politics of the scene and the need to get back to focus on music as dazzling cosmic synths bring light and hope. As tension builds and the synths take over and turn acidic, dance floors will go to the next level.

Remixing is the Rekids label founder and ever-green house and techno talent Radio Slave. His super rework ups the pace and dubs out the drums, so they hit that bit harder. The vocal remains, as do the warming synths, as it surges on a smooth and uplifting groove.

With Dead Man’s Hand - Poker Flat Volume VI, the label sharpened its edge. By early 2008, Poker Flat had already carved out a reputation for precision-crafted club music, but this compilation revealed a darker glint beneath the surface.

Curated by Steve Bug, the first CD laid down a hand of standout originals and sharp remixes. From the stripped suspense of “Behind the Curtains” by Steve Bug & Clé to Martin Landsky’s sleek “Man High,” every track was chosen with intent. Redshape’s haunting remix of Simon Flower’s “The Whisper Had It” and Sebo K’s version of “Let Me Dance” added further depth, keeping one foot in the shadows.

The second disc, mixed by Clé of Märtini Brös, moved with fluidity, threading together a deeper and more atmospheric side of the label. Raudive’s “Needles” (Steve Bug Remix), Ryo Murakami’s “Nightmare,” and Guido Schneider & Florian Schirmacher’s “Organic” all made an appearance, before drifting into the surreal finale with Märtini Brös’ “Karawane.”

Named after the infamous poker hand of black aces and eights, the one Wild Bill Hickok was said to be holding when he was shot, the compilation embraced a sense of risk, drama and high-stakes elegance that suited the Poker Flat catalog perfectly.

N-You-Up and Boogie Vice join forces with vocalist Joshua Morris for a sun-soaked house groover, 'All By Design'.

Built around a slap-style bassline, tight percussion, and a rolling acoustic groove, 'All By Design' showcases the creative chemistry between Boogie Vice and N-You-Up, who have regularly collaborated on labels like Get Physical, Rekids, and Definitive Recordings. The track unfolds with evolving vocal phrases from South African artist Joshua Morris, adding both charm and depth. Adding the final piece is Joshua Morris, a Cape Town-based vocalist and producer known for blending psych-pop influences with rich, layered vocals. His distinctive tone and songwriting instincts shine on 'All By Design', making the track feel as immediate as it is lasting.

The result is a vibrant, feel-good single that channels the chemistry of seasoned collaborators with a fresh vocal twist: Tailor-made for dancefloors and sunsets alike.

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums.
