German duo, Manqo are swiftly establishing their presence across the international circuit. Their first release, Won’t Change, was a collaboration with Keinemusik mainstay Rampa and it went on to accumulate over three-hundred-thousand streams on Spotify. They caught the attention of Crosstown Rebels head Damian Lazarus soon after, with Breaking Hearts acting as the first of two EPs to be released on the label in the near future, including a fab remix from South Africa's Black Coffee. 

Manqo spoke on how the track came together, stating: “Breaking Hearts was produced in our studio at Funkhaus Berlin. It was a warm summer day and when we finished it at sunset, we realised it was truly special. We’re very happy it found a home on Crosstown Rebels.”

Paris-based duo Alex H. and Adrian C ended last year on a high with ‘Journey’, a super stylish new album on Kindisch in December. It was full of deep, spiritual, emotional sounds and is now followed up with a trio of top singles. Between this pair they have studied filmmaking in NYC and violin and piano at the Conservatory of Paris and travel the world picking up disparate influences and inspiration from nature. All of that infuses this first richly detailed new cut. 

'Mi Pena' is a gloriously lush house tune lit up with sensuous synth strings. They bring a sense of class as the drums roll deep and vocals slowly emerge to bring the soul. It's a track that will ignite cosy crowds and intimate dance floors with its mix of elastic groove and heart warming atmosphere. 

This single is the start of another standout year for Birds of Mind.

Duo composed of Parisian born Rico and Peruvian Steve, Wolf Story has made some serious noise this year with releases on Defected, Yoshitoshi and SimmaBlack. With their latest release "The Harp" dropped by Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1 recently, they are now getting requests from all the best imprints around the world. 

Following up on their remix of the Kerri Chandler classic "Keep Me inside", the dynamic duo is back on King Street but this time for an edit of Dennis Ferrer. "Dem People Go" features some nice piano riffs, exciting arpeggios and a subliminal afro house groove. African vocalist Bela Elbo delivers some engaged lyrics on the condition Africans have to go through. 

One of the most respected DJs in the galaxy already gave a very nice feedback: "I Loove the Dennis Ferrer remix" Laurent Garnier. 

"Dem People Go" will drop on King Street Nov 16th.

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari. The name says it all: Get Physical tracks could hardly be more moving and corporeal. It was true in 2002, and it will be true in 2022 and beyond. Get Physical has already made a huge contribution to the history of contemporary house music, but rest assured the German label still has plenty more to say.
