The South African phenomenon Black Coffee has become well known in recent years due to his impeccable blend of house, infused with African culture and vibes. In 2012, ‘Buya’ was released featuring the stunning vocalist Toshi. The track went platinum in Africa in 2 months, bringing Black Coffee into the international spotlight. Now, Get Physical has taken the reigns and handed the track over to Loco Dice, M.A.N.D.Y. and Da Capo. 

Loco Dice lays down a touch of Funk, lightening the mood and takes the track into his world between house and techno, and brings back a bouncy experience.
M.A.N.D.Y. on the other hand, opts to keep the original deepness intact, throwing us a super fluid dance number for stirring up a boiling dancefloor. 
Da Cappo then generates an elegantly organic atmosphere, with the energy loosened and wrapped up in a thick blanket of jazzy-swing. 
This EP also marks the first taste of a brand new compilation series coming soon to Get Physical, Africa Gets Physical. 

Loco Dice who has African roots spends his proceeds of the EP for the development of the new website, and the donation campaign for the Kliptown Youth Centre in Soweto, South Africa, a non-profit project that provides hope through tutoring, athletic, music and arts programs.
The returns will go to helping the heroes of the Kliptown Youth Center in Soweto, South Africa, giving kids a chance to create and express themselves whereas they might not have had that chance before. The youth is our future, and right now they need our help and support.

Ryan Murgatroyd - South African Music Producer, DJ and Live Music Performer.

Ryan Murgatroyd rose to global prominence when his release ‘Funk Country’ became BBC1 Radio's "essential new tune" on the legendary Pete Tong's show. Not losing sight of cementing his presence internationally, Ryan shifted his focus towards indulging in other pursuits. This included the success of his duo Crazy White Boy as well as a pivotal role as director of education at the Soul Candi Institute of Music. 

Never one to simmer down, Ryan set his sights on conquering the electronic world of European music once more. It didn't take long before his debut single, Bantwana's Piano, was making waves around the world. DJ Mag called it "a towering achievement in the landscape of modern house music" before it was track listed on 4 Defected compilations and featured as Damian Lazarus’s closing track at Burning Man. In 2014 Ryan released his ‘iKalimba’ EP, tying in his new-found partnership with Get Physical Music, with major support from the likes of Solomun, H.O.S.H., and many others.  

Having secured his relationship with Get Physical Music, Ryan headed up a new collective and showcase to African House music, ‘Bantwanas’. With his consistent efforts in and out of studio he assisted and featured in the release of the first ever ‘Africa Gets Physical’ compilation and is currently working on a new album with an array of original tracks, collaborations and remixes, while touring Africa and Europe.

Blanka Mazimela’s ‘Phezulu’ has been one of the biggest recent tunes on Get Physical and now it gets a solo release with remixes from Aero Manyelo and Niko Schwind. 

Aero Manyelo’s excellent version was included on the label’s MostWanted compilation in August and also on the artist’s own Body Language Vol 19 mix from April. Manyelo is a prominent artist in his native South Africa and has produced tunes that went on to get huge support from the likes of Dixon and Damian Lazarus. His version is an excellently enchanting one thanks to the thoughtful pianos and sensuous pads, the gentle percussion and soulful vocals. It’s a romantic track that will add real emotion to any set. 

The second remix from Niko Schwind finds the German Stil For Talent producer flip it into something more upbeat but just as classy and musical. Sweeping chords extend up to the heavens and the vocal is an intimate one, but the drums are bigger and the percussion has more drive to ensure a more immediate impact. 

The original is from Cape Town’s Blanka Mazimela, another one of the excellent South African talents Get Physical have been showcasing in recent times. It is a warm track that oozes authentic South African house feelings, with great melodies draped over the slick drum work. 

These are three sophisticated house tracks that will continue to warm up dance floors well into winter.

Having already racked up support from some of the scenes most respected tastemakers - including Dixon, Solomun and Bedouin - Netherlands-based artist Collé has burst onto the scene with a serious dancefloor ingenuity.

Ahead of the release of his seven-track debut album 'Tulua' on True Colors, Collé has shared the track 'Magari' - an ethereal, strapping and diverse tune which features lavish vocals from the world music group Farafi.

Welcome to ZEHN002, where Betoko and Haze-M invite you to experience their melodic infused techno spheres. The London based DJ and producer Betoko prepared two well crafted tracks with Tunisian artist Haze-M for this EP, and both are techno weapons with a subtle melodic groove. Over the years, Betoko and Haze-M managed to create anthems that were released on labels like Diynamic, Suara, Katermukke, Einmusika, Get Physical and now ZEHN Records.

'Rebirth' envelopes you with its hypnotising chants and and stimulates your body to a progressive journey. It has a perfect balance of energy to give the crowd a boost, without being too overpowering. It makes it easy to create a story/set from there says Betoko himself on the tune, after opening many of his sets with it on South America tour. "I have never been a huge fan of Eastern/Indian vocals beacuse I feel they have been used alot, but when I heard this particular track I was hypnotized, it was almost like it spoke to me and in my mind I made my own lyrics and story.”

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene.
