On the milestone of our 5th release, we gave ourselves at Ritter Butzke Studio a very special gift - A release by no other than Schlepp Geist. He is presenting us his "Back to the Basics EP”: Please dive in with us too, and feel the unique theme in every single track of this piece. All along the EP, the honest "hand-made" House music surrounds you, riddled with vocals by Schlepp Geist himself. No bells and whistles here. The cherry on top is a great remix by "Mr.Vibe" Patryk Molinari!

The opening title track "Back to the Basics" sets the direction instantly. Massive analog drumming, deep lead basses, pitched synthesized melody, sprinkled with catchy vocals - This piece is a synthesis of the arts! Right after this kick you will find the A2 "Purple Horizon": A Deep, spherical track with the intense DNA as its big brother – a definite must have for the upcoming Festivals & Open-Air season!

Welcome to the B-Side. Which we find as giving the proper contrast to this release. Starting with “Urban Camouflage" original mix, which shows the laid-back angle of Schlepp Geist. This is an impressive marvelous, atmospheric track, with dreamy pads and soothing warm vocals, which is exactly the element that is built upon the remix of Patryk Molinari, which presents it in an uplifting approach that respects the vitality of the original nevertheless.

The moment you will listen to the tracks yourself, you will feel the confidence of this release. We think of it as a unique musical cinema!

Spada & Noah Kulaga explore electrifying melodic house on their Get Physical Music debut. ‘Loverglow’ brings real songwriting to the dance floor.

German singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Noah Kulaga is a fast-rising new talent in the house world who brings influences from indie, pop and hip-hop to his beats. He turns the emotional ups and downs of life into captivating melodies and has worked with label mate Sailor & I before now. Here, he links with Ultimo Paradiso label head Spada, who hails from Italy, and his music on the likes of Diynamic and Anjunabeats has been streamed more than 100 million times on Spotify. He has been awarded Essential New Tune on BBC Radio 1 and has remixed the likes of Roger Sanchez, so he is right at the heart of the house sound of now.

The magnificent 'Loverglow' is an uplifting melodic house cut with bittersweet vocals and proper song structure. The grooves are sleek and raw, while the scintillating synths unfold in ever-evolving layers. It's the sort of enchanting track that gets hands in the air and bodies swaying while minds are lost in the warm glow of the chords and reverie of the vocals.

Niconé, David Hasert and Enda Gallery combine for a new outing on Get Physical Music. The two tracks tap into tender emotions, great songwriting and rich house grooves.

Alexander Gerlach has been making music as Niconé since 2007, both solo and alongside the likes of Jan Blomqvist and Philip Bader. His music is more about feeling than genre and comes with a hint of warming nostalgia on labels like Stil vor Talent, Katermukke and Bar 25 Music as well as Dantze, which he co-runs with Bader. He works here with LIKE records founder, live act and key German mainstay David Hasert, who also takes care of bookings at Reineke Fuchs. Between those commitments, he plays all over the world and serves up a fine blend of house, tech and in-between styles. Completing the trio is Irish artist, vocalist and pianist Enda Gallery who is known for profound and thought-provoking lyrics and for blending hip-hop, Irish traditional music and timeless electronic sounds as well as playing concerts all over the world.

The gorgeous 'For U' immediately strikes a poignant note with falsetto vocals tugging at the heart strings. Well-swung hits and moody synth drones suspend the magical moments which play out with beautiful chord changes and subtle breakdowns. 'Always Wanting' is another stirring mix of crystal-cut vocals and heavy, melancholic bass notes with glassy melodies building tension in the middle of the mix. It's a tune that is both optimistic and uplifting but tinged with sadness as the wavy house groove rolls on next to tender piano keys.

Accomplished house artist Tom Breu returns to Get Physical Music for beautiful vocal house single 'With You'. LA's Sion Louks is the featured guest vocalist.

Tom Breu is a German-born DJ and producer who has spent time living in Ibiza and Los Angeles and brings an array of influences to his music. He is currently riding high after the single ‘Weak’ with Vintage Culture and Maverick Sabre became a global hit and earned a Grammy nomination. He has a vast knowledge of electronic music that has seen him have a stint as a DJ for MTV, where he curated music for television audiences and helped shape the sound of a generation while also undertaking various other radio and TV hosting duties that have given him a worldwide fan base. His last release for Get Physical, ‘Mururngu’ received broad critical acclaim, and this new single is sure to do the same. He hooks up here with Sion Louks, a producer, artist and songwriter based in LA who has amassed millions of streams on labels like Earth's Rhythm Records.

Their superb 'With You' is a slow-burning gem with deep house beats. Dreamy arps ripple up high in a cloudless sky while the whispered vocal brings romantic intimacy, and plucked bass guitar proves some anchorage to the dance floor. It's an elegant, artful sound with a heartfelt breakdown that makes a lasting impact.

London's Jim Rider debuts on Get Physical Music. 'Squaring Circles' is an elegant blend of vocal and melodic house sounds.

Jim Rider has grown ever more prominent in recent years. The UK artist is not only a slick DJ and producer but also a promoter, so he understands the dance floor from all different angles. He has previously released on the likes of Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream and Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden, as well as worked with Kindisch, Akbal Music, and his own imprint, Signs. He has played across the world and topped many digital charts, and now, he ends 2024 with a standout new tune.

His wonderful 'Squaring Circles' pairs fresh house drums with a swirling cosmos of colourful melodies, digital ripples and alluring vocals. They are harmonised with themselves and have a serene vibe as foreground hooks and background loops all intertwine to hypnotic effect.

New Jackson is next up on Maeve with a reissue of a track very close to our hearts, The Night Mail. Originally released on POGO Recordings back in 2011, it became something of a sleeper hit. Having always been fans of the original we are delighted to bring this newly remastered version along with an original B-side entitled "By Its Own Light". Both tracks get remixes from Mano Le Tough to round off the record.
