Over the course of the past five years, Amsterdam based label Indigo Aera has evolved in to one of the most trustworthy and respected contemporary Detroit techno labels around.

In October 2016, @IndigoAera embarks on their biggest release to date: a limited edition 5 LP box-set. The Lost Archives Special consists of unreleased tracks from absolute legends, to music that has never been released in a physical form before, to fresh compositions of techno’s most talented contemporary artists. This is the premiere of 500 Models (demo mix) by Joris Voorn.

"I made this track on an MPC and Juno 106 in 2001. It was recorded in one live take in my student room in Rotterdam. It never got released as I wasn’t sure about the track, but it was picked up by Indigo Aera years later when I put an mp3 on my website.’’

Aus Music follow up a string of new signings with the return of 2 of the long-standing staples - label owner Will Saul and long term affiliate Komon. The duo most recently collaborated on a 12” for Kompakt now together they ready the ‘Eve's Seven’ EP - a deep and dreamy 3-track EP that comes with a remix from recent signing Recloose.

Bloom sets arresting riffs circling through rich textures that thicken and thin to startling effect. ‘Eve’s Seven’ follows up with dusty drum samples and bold melodies before the Brooklyn native does what he does best in offering up a typically sunny take on Komon & Will Saul’s ‘Eve's Seven’. Sweeping filters and a short, driving bass line propel a highly energetic but playful rework primed for brimful dancefloors.

Celebrating 10 years of music, Steve Lawler’s imprint VIVa MUSiC assembles a legion of top quality artists for a three part release. Featured on this first part it’s Robsoul founder Phil Weeks with a jam titled ‘’ Come On Baby’’. The French Producer and DJ collides funky drums and an intoxicating female vocal, with the addition of a subtle jazz touch. Montenegro native Ilona Maras returns to Get Physical once again as ‚Existe‘ gets plucked from Full Body Workout Vol. 18 for the remix treatment. Produced in collaboration with Sanja and featuring the silky smooth vocals of Jesus Gutierrez, AKA Sutja Gutierrez; the original mix features a beautifully organic groove supported by warm pumping dub chords as the vocal cuts dance on top of the piece. Dusty crescendos bring a certain energy to the mix, adding a gritty elegance. Our boy Bryan Kessler takes on the remix, giving the track a dirty, stuttering bassline and with it, a burst of energy, turning the track into a main time killer. Together these tracks cover a broad spectrum of situations, from warm up to after hour, Ilona, Sanja, Sutja and Bryan have your back.

Glitchy hi-hats and heavy basslines launch ‘Nebula’ out into the cosmos. ‘Black Sun’ is twinkling keys, a smoke-and-mirrors ride into the sunset of tech-house wonders.
The Jiggler takes a more downbeat tip with ‘Sparkles,’ whomping beats underpinning a fruity, carnivalesque vibe.

‘Venom’ is sweet poison: a straight-laced toe-tapper, which spirals into clapped-out grooves. Referencing the foggy, nebulaic state where you can lose yourself, ‘Daydream’ takes you to a place where shapes and borders shift. A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. The label has become a globally recognised symbol of quality, renowned for its always varied and vital house output. Forming the backbone of the label's vast catalogue is the influential in-house DJ mix series, Body Language. It is a snapshot of exactly where the underground is at and has been assembled by tastemakers such as Azari & III, Catz ‘N Dogz, Dixon, DJ Hell, Francesco Tristano, Nôze and of course label-founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house.
