WAHM (FR) return to Get Physical with another majestic offering. The French-Moroccan duo lay down spellbinding grooves, complete with a serene vocal.


WAHM (FR) is a live electronic duo composed of two talented multi-instrumentalists. Their alias translates from Arabic as 'illusion' and is used in reference to music's effects on brain functions. They have a real passion for blending different musical styles on this label, as well as the likes of Diynamic. The pair write songs as much as tracks and were last here in late summer with a stunning remix of Amine K ft. Robert Owens's 'Tinker Bell'. Now, they keep up their fine form with a fresh new original.


The magical 'Sunrise Sun Wise' is the sort of lush and feel-good sound that lodges deep in the mind. It's laden with soothing chords that are draped over the soft, shuffling deep house drums while the gorgeous vocals soar up top and bring great expression and joy. Add in the subtle shakers and bulbous bassline and you have a classic house lullaby.
