Systematic are gearing up to release the 100th EP on the label and who better to take the reigns than Romboy and Bodzin. We have the premiere of the title track and 'Kerberos' is exactly what you'd expect from the titans of techno.

'Kerberos' is a hypnotic and driving cut, one that progresses and builds with precision and underlying menace. Its melodies intertwine from the first beat and it couldn't sum up the Systematic ethos better.

Get Physical Music revisits one of its most enduring anthems as Yulia Niko delivers a brand-new remix of Helsloot’s ‘Let’s Pretend’, one of the label’s biggest success stories of the past decade. Originally released in 2022, the track topped the Beatport Indie Dance chart and remained in the Top 100 for over two years. Now, Yulia flips the script with a fresh, house-leaning reinterpretation, marking the second single from her forthcoming Body Language Vol. 26 compilation, due later this summer.

Yulia’s remix brings a totally new flavor to the beloved track. Reimagining the original through his signature lens of groove and analog flavor, St. David transforms ‘Good Music’ into a timeless house smasher, anchored by a powerful bassline and a shuffling rhythm that keeps the floor moving from the first bar. The mastermind behind Basic Channel, Hard Wax and Rhythm & Sound doesn't do mixes. For RA.1000, he made an exception.

Trace Mark Ernestus's path, and you trace the evolution of electronic sound itself. The timeline of contemporary Berlin is unimaginable without him. At first, that meant Hard Wax, the crucial hub that shaped the early era of the city's techno revolution. Carl Craig once said it plainly: "Mark was ground zero."

From there, Ernestus never stopped. There's the birth of dub techno and the near-flawless catalogue that followed through Basic Channel and Rhythm & Sound. There's his immersion in Senegalese mbalax with Ndagga Rhythm Force. Lately, that means Open Ground the Wuppertal bunker that's letting people hear music as never before.

As part three of RA.1000, Ernestus has kindly supplied his first studio DJ mix. As you might expect, it's technically immaculate, but more than that, it feels like a substantial and generous conduit to one of the world's most vital genres.

Amapiano remains underexplored in music media. Publications like our own are still learning to keep pace with the South African sound's global pull, animating millions across the globe. 

You'll hear the range and richness of the genre across the near two-hour mix, from the gothic, percussive stomp of Caltetonic's "Bambela"  to the devotional glow of GemValleyMusiq's "Something Spiritual."

Through all of this, Ernestus has remained understated. He lets the music speak for him, with a quiet honesty that lies in decades of opening doors—creating the conditions for new sounds and scenes to flourish and carry the culture forward.

Tim Greens latest Get Physical release, ‚Only Time Remains‘ spread a warm vibe over a dusty soundscape, with beautifully executed synth featured scattered throughout. Now we’ve called on Huxley and Francesca Lombardo to take that original feel and leave their own fingerprint on it. First up is Huxley, whose extensive discography reads more like that of a seasoned veteran rather than a fresh U.K. export. His mix coaxes the groove out before pumping the brakes within the first minutes. He then drops the beat to great dramatic effect, going on to feature bassline stabs that resonate deep within. Next is the Italian born and classically trained Francesca Lombardo, who takes the track to a harder dancefloor. Utilizing a schizophrenic bassline sequence, the track bangs around your head as it delivers a solid dose of late-night-sweat. Laying somewhere in the depths between techno and house, the track couldn’t be called one or the other for certain, but what is certain is its ability to get your hips swinging. Lastly, the original is up for grabs once again, included in the package for anyone who might have missed it the first time around.

Stephan Bodzin: a classically trained musician, vastly experienced producer and master of melody. He has built a reputation through countless releases under many aliases, and through his dramatic and dynamic live set capturing the hearts of fans worldwide. For Afterlife, Bodzin bottles the infectious energy of these shows into two epic, colourful landscapes of sound, “Strand” and “Catamaran”.
