Estonian-native London-based Urmet K has steadily established himself as a firm fixture amongst London’s immense underground as he blurs the lines between hypnotic-melodic and emotive house melodies. Kenyan born Idd Aziz is completely dedicated to becoming one of the most empowered and awakened male vocalists possible and he proves that here. 

'Ni Wewe' is a gorgeous Afro-house tune with big drums and spiritual synths. The icing on the cake is the spine-tingling vocal which soars to the heavens and gets you in a trance. It overflows with real emotion and as the groove rolls on you cannot help but fall under its spell.

Jalal Ramdani, Team Distant, and Mr Silk team up once again to release another EP titled “Sake” on the distinguished Deep Root Tribe record label. In the fall of 2020, the guys made the hugely successful track SESA which was their first collaboration and they straight away went onto a second project which is SAKE. 

Jalal proposed to team up again to combine the drum skills of Team Distant, his energetic and folkloric touch, the musical ear of Silk, and of course the undeniable African talent of Stevo Atambire who provided the vocal and the guitar. The guys made it in early 2021 mid-pandemic while locked up in the studio, to come up with this pure roots track. 

Jalal asked his protégée Adjuma to remix (as he did with Sesa, when he only had 1 track released at the time) and also Chaleee to portray his dramatic afro style. Both came up with different and interesting styles, constituting an infectious EP.

Israeli Duo The Angels have been enjoying multiple success with their releases on HMWL, Sony Music, Deep Root Tribe and Go Deeva.   

Their latest HMWL release Feeling Good in collaboration with Shrii has quickly raked 400,000 plays on YouTube music and stayed in the Beatport charts for over 2 months, peaking at Top 10 in Organic House.

A top trio of talents in West & Hill, Soulroots and Soul Star all come together for a new package on Get Physical Music.

Dutch producer Soulroots’ debut album came on Madorasindahouse in 2021 and announced him as a real force in the world of Afro house. On this album, Soulroots first came together with West & Hill when the fellow Dutchman wrote the track ‘Let Me In’ for the LP. West & Hill had previously released on Madorasindahouse and Kindisch and has his own emotive and highly musical sound. The song received international support from Black Coffee, Adam Port and Adriatique and became an instant summer hit. Now they are back together on Get Physical, teaming up with South African vocalist Soulstar, who has his own rich and Afro-infused style.

The collaborative 'The World Goes Round' is a brilliant dance floor excursion. It's well crafted and succeeds in its mission to uplift as the tropical drums, and spiritual synths get the groove going, and then Afro vocals bring it to life. They soar up top above organic percussion and melodies that dazzle like glowing stars.

A lot has happened in the last 20 years of dance music, but one constant has been Get Physical right at the sharp end of the scene. Next to that there has been a constant stream of innovative, dance-floor ready singles, crossover club classics, seminal remixes and a number of standout artist albums. The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari. The name says it all: Get Physical tracks could hardly be more moving and corporeal. It was true in 2002, and it will be true in 2022 and beyond. Get Physical has already made a huge contribution to the history of contemporary house music, but rest assured the German label still has plenty more to say.
