Sie könnte auch "Matze’s Mixtape" heißen, nur würde das sehr an ein anderes Format erinnern, das ebenfalls in Kiel beheimatet ist. 
Gespielt wird alles, was gefällt. Viele aktuelle Songs, aber auch viele Klassiker.

Eine Besonderheit: Die Sendung hat einen speziellen Bezug zu norddeutschen Künstlern. Es wird also pro Sendung mindestens ein Song gespielt, der aus dem Norden der Republik stammt. 
Eine weitere Besonderheit: Ab und zu wird es die Kategorie "Lange nicht gehört" geben, in der ein Stück gespielt wird, das – man kann es sich denken – lange nicht gehört und damals doch für ganz gut befunden wurde.

Außerdem wird es meistens spannende Gäste geben, die ihren Senf dazugeben werden. Haltet die Augen und vor allem Ohren auf.

GET DEAD is an electric/acoustic punkrock band, forged in the furnace of San Francisco, CA in 2007. Brought together by their appeal for punk infused rock and roll riffs, joy of acoustic impurities and desire to keep it simple. They continue to play local Bay Area shows, tour the Western U. S. and most recently finished an Eastern European 25 day tour of seven countries during Spring of 2012. They acknowledge their good fortune to have played in support of bands large and small, popular and unpopular. With the momentum and ferocity of an elephant shot with phencyclidine they continue to bring their debaucherous electric and acoustic punkrock to all towns, events, venues and fans that will tolerate them, baptize them in beer and indulge in after hours dance parties with maximum bubbles.

Fat Wreck Chords is an indie label co-founded in San Francisco by NOFX frontman Fat Mike (Michael Burkett) and Erin Kelly-Burkett, in 1990.
