Mother Moses is a band based in Philadelphia, PA. The lead singer and guitar player Jon Cox formed the band in 2013. Their sound is a blend of ethereal folk and more traditional folk music that is centered around fingerstyle guitar playing.

Flowers on Both Ears are a duo based in Sri Lanka. They draw inspiration from a worldview based on their Islamic faith: The world of nature, understood as articulations of the cosmic Quran, in the breath of the All- Merciful.

Their songs are an attempt at thematically connecting with certain traditions and forms of Islamic love poetry especially the Nasīb (in the traditional world, poetry(spoken / sung) and music, were almost always inseparable). Poetry in which human and divine love, transpire in the breath of the Merciful.

Tomcat and Magnum (Sarani Perera and Isaac Smith) emerged from the inertia of the Musicmatters experimental music movement in Colombo, Sri Lanka in the latter half of 2013.

Seeking to resolve a desire to see more colorful and playful forms of music in the Colombo electronic music scene Tomcat and Magnum set to work writing material, playing events and supporting local electronic music by offering newer dimensions in sonic sensation to Sri Lankan audiences.

Sarani Perera and Isaac smith both display prowess and dedication on their studied instruments – Sarani Perera spearheading the sonic art and improvised music endeavours in Colombo with his ever-evolving inventive, thoughtful approaches electric guitar whilst Isaac Smith, ceaselessly endeavours for new paradigms of sonic awareness and response with his primary instrument, the Double Bass.
The Tomcat and Magnum EP, released early 2014 was met with positive praise by Asvajit Boyle, Ravi Bandaranaike, Givanke Goonetilleke and Sunara Jayamanne local pioneers in the Colombo electronic scene.

Tomcat and Magnum employ a truly unique style embodying elastic approaches to time feel production and microtonal plumes of spectral Basslines and spatial, organic melodies. As collaborators Tomcat and Magnum cherish a unique vision to keep Electronic music a spontaneous, positive, playful and ever-expansive art form.
