The past 4 years have nothing short of the good, the bad, the ugly, and of course, the beautiful. Steyoyoke thanks you, our old and new fans, for the substructure of love and support upon which this label is built. We bring you ultramodern remixes of our liveliest tracks from 2015 on the latest EP, Steyoyoke Anniversary Vol. 04, to celebrate the new year, including remixes by: Philipp Kempnich, Cid Inc, Oliver Schories, MIDAS 104, and Jonas Saalbach.

Philip Kempnich remixes Aaryon and Ran Salman's 'Riptide', fundamentally shifting the patterns of sound consistently to leave you with an ever-pleased, tingly aural sensation. Cid Inc brings us his take on Nick Devon's 'The Poem' featuring Miroir, taking advantage of the earthy bass line through a complimentary arrangement. Oliver Schories faced Soul Button and BLANCAh's 'Rising Silence' turning this track into a twisted fantasy guaranteed to engulf you. MIDAS 104 approaches Animal Picnic's 'Gravity' with a bold confidence evident in the layout of this true anthem of ethereal techno, with a hint of funk! Lastly, but not leastly, Jonas Saalbach remixes Dahu and MPathy's 'Shattered' sticking to the darkness that is, while adding minimalistic elements to make this track simultaneously sink in and pop out in the most unpredictable and astounding ways.

You all probably know Liem "If Only" by know ?! This feel good house track being almost instantly becoming an unifying anthem ! If not you might have heard awesome Eddie Ness "Ombre" we premiered some months ago too. Well LeHult sixth release marks the closing of a circle : Lucky Charmz, the man of its ﬁrst release “Follow Me To Flottbeck Falls” EP, returns to deliver his second full length effort. LHLT006 is the “U Still Coming Over?” EP, a long overdue follow up to his ﬁrst EP : More than anything else, it’s a fresh slice of summer groovers. Opener “Faceless Goat” here instantly delights with it’s majestic opening chords, only to unleash a smashing grandeur of sample fun and lustful grooves. It’s a no-vocals-required killer, rich in texture and yet subtly enchanting. While Faceless Goat is probably best enjoyed blasted out to vast, scenic landscapes on mediterranean coasts from the terrace of a ancient estate, it is also tried and tested for “Vorzech”, houseparties and—of course—any club scenario (it won’t fail you). There's a love brought together this night that we will keep in our hearts forever. And it is exactly that love that remains our drive to help us move forward at our upcoming shows and obviously our festival. 

So with this love in our heart we are happy to publish the musical journey that the amazing duo Birds of Mind has prepared for you, our family. It means the world to us, as both mean the world to us. We most recently felt their love and saw their performance in an agave field of Mezcal Amores in Oaxaca Mexico. The South Coast of the UK has bred another 2 successful names in underground music who have joined forces to create a home for a new wave of house, bass and forward thinking creations.. Food.

The label launches with Shadow Child’s own 23 EP, 4 slices of peaktime house led by the infectious title track ‘23’, a collaboration with Tymer. Solo tracks ‘Sensible Haircut’ and ‘The Verdict pt2’ take things deeper with a more edgy sound and a rather smashing remix from label partners Kry Wolf to boot.

Support and airtime so far from notable names such as Eats Everything and Mistajam, carving out solid beginnings.

While we are all experiencing the impacts of a global pandemic, it has been interesting to see the affects in which people engage with music. Be it singing together from balconies, watching live streams on social media or composing isolation songs, many of these new forms and repertoires bore witness to an underlying conviction about music’s ability to create and maintain social bonds, to show gratitude, to promote public health, and to escape from anxiety, boredom, loneliness, stress, and uncertainty about the future. I wish to thank the Flow Music Crew for expanding upon this. 
Music is a method of therapy and a means of accessing and stimulating specific cerebral circuits. As someone who has a music & neuroscience background, it has been very interesting to see music’s effects be put to the test. During times of spatial distancing, the role of music in social convergence has been strongly pushed to the forefront. There is a strong an association between musical creativity and psychopathology. I know we are all impacted in one way or another at present, so I hope this curation of music is somewhat therapeutic. I hope this set allows you to positively reflect whilst simultaneously escaping into your own ideal psychological state. After all.. Art history is the unfolding of subjectivity
