The German label-founder spoke on what the release embodies, stating: “Music From Space (Dimension A) is the brand new edition of this compilation concept, which you can take literally as it comes. I’m very happy to have collected eight exclusive tracks from the likes of Swedish Lady Molø, our newest signing Pôngo, ex-youngster Rodriguez Jr. and many more besides.”

Italian pairing Hunter / Game begin the journey with No Man’s Land, a slow-building piece packed full of ethereal synths and cosmic-themed vocal tones. Croatia’s Petar Dundov ups the tempo on Andante, showcasing his hallmark techno-trance sound through poignant chords and driving kick-hat combos, before longstanding Systematic affiliate Rodriguez Jr. arrives with Mare Serenitatis. A six-minute showcase in stripped-back, melodic groove, the celestial cut rises and falls with a gentle lucidity, opening beautifully into Fleut. Produced by rising Swedish artist Molø, shimmering keys
reside atop whispering hats to create an introspective dancefloor number, paving the way for the VA’s first collaboration: Eternity, courtesy of Systematic head Marc Romboy and Bedrock regular Oniris.
Breaks-inspired percussion marries up next to hauntingly-beautiful string solos, as the sounds of Germany and France collide.

Original techno luminary Scan X makes his label debut with Stellar Nebula, a late-night creeper that represents extraterrestrial worlds far removed from ours. We’re soon graced with the starry-eyed sounds of Pôngo, whose vocal offering leaves us in a state of reflection on Blind, before Munich mainstay Julian Wassermann transports us to martian territory with The Red Planet. An apt title, it acts as the penultimate track on the VA and sets the tone for the final collaborative effort:Neutron, produced by two electronic music veterans in the form of Oliver Linge and Olaf Pozsgay.

Marc Romboy’s Systematic imprint has built up a global following ever since its inception sixteen years ago. Inspired by the sounds of his Chicago heroes, Marc launched the label in 2005 and has since gone on to welcome an eclectic array of producers to the fold, from Mike Dunn to Fur Coat and a myriad of fellow talent. In most recent times, the likes of Robert Babicz, Pôngo as well as Marc himself have pushed the Systematic sound further, garnering the label a reputation for releasing emotionally-charged music that remains ripe for any dancefloor.

Brooklyn-based producer Brian Cid follows up standout releases on the likes of Knee Deep In Sound, Lost & Found and microCastle with a debut on Berlin's Save Us Records (home to the likes of Jonas Saalbach, YokoO and Kris Davis). The two track release, which has already won the hallowed support of BBC Radio 1 legend Pete Tong, comes strapped with a remix from  rising star Andrea Ljekaj.

The former pop/hip-hop producer took time out of his intense schedule this week to talk us through the release, his current projects and his motivation behind the move to the electronic underworld. Sunny and warm sounds, the relaxing voices of kids and an on-point bass line. Welcome back Budakid with "Rhizome" which could be the late-summer-hit with it's intense soundscapes and message. "Matahari" feat. Sterioa is more four to the floor with some spacey sounds and wide open keys. Nordfold is the partner in crime for "Granny" which is starting slow and mysterious. The whole Ep is a sound experiment full of unusual sounds and effects, enjoy the trip.

And we've been excited for a while about this brand new beauty from his latest EP, Salix, entitled Spiel. Laced with delicate twinkling synth flutters, sultry broken beats, and a deep rumbling sub bass paired with a gorgeous melancholic lead, this is a tune that pulls you in closer and closer with every note. Mattr aka Matthew Clugston is a leftfield house, breaks, and techno producer as well as a superbly talented motion graphics artist from Birmingham, now living in London. With residencies dating back to his hometown at Code with Steve Lawler as well as supporting gigs for Sasha & Danny Tenaglia, Mattr would share decks with the likes of Tale of Us & Jamie Jones before hosting his own events with fellow innovator Alex Banks as well as Maxxi Soundsystem, and XXXY, to name a few. It was from there that he made the move to Berlin to study music production & performance and where he'd form a friendship with label partner, Max Winstanley (Lewyn Stan)who he paired up with to launch their Helical Scan imprint.

After years honing his sound, Matthew went on to release his first album along with several other productions on Faceless Recordings, TrippyCode, Ozono, and CRR, garnering support from Amé, Guy Gerber, Anja Schneider, Nick Warren, Rodriguez Jr, & the legendary Laurent Garnier.

25 years after first cutting his teeth DJing tech house & breaks, Mattr's broad musical palette often draws him closer to the more emotive side of electronic music, finding deep resonance with forward-thinking artists like Max Cooper, Jon Hopkins, Tourist, Overmono, Fourtet, Phon.O and Radioactive Man, whom you'll hear plenty of in his consistent & beautifully diverse mix series.

We are now treated to this exquisite 4-track EP 'Salix', on his newly formed Loft & Sound imprint, with the focus being on IDM, electronica, leftfield house, techno and leftfield breaks.
