The spanish producer, based in Norway shows us a beautiful pack. 3 original mixes with his  peculiar estyle, with elements from Deep House, Progressive House, Electronica, in a organic harmony that will offer a nice msuical trip to the listener.

The EP is completed with the warm and suggestive remix by the great argentinian artist Juan Deminicis @juandeminicis (Pronton, Particles), a perfect track for a sunrise or a sunset.

 A truly talented artist with huge following and global appeal, Alex O’Rion continues to go from strength to strength within the world of underground dance. With his work spanning some 15 years of commercial releases, the Dutch master is a welcome returnee to Meanwhile with a stellar quartet of original tracks.

A regular across the industry’s finest purveyors of modern and cerebral progressive house music, Alex O’Rion has constantly found his music featured on such esteemed imprints as Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat, Guy J’s Lost & Found and Nick Warren’s Hope. A regular visitor to the upper echelons of the Beatport charts, over a million Spotify streams in 2020 and 4,000 followers points to broad appeal and wide-ranging support.

Now returning to Meanwhile after a trio of remixes for label head-honchos GMJ & Matter on June 2020’s “Gauntlet” and February 2021’s “The Path”, Alex O’Rion now returns to the label with a devastating 4-track original EP of unrivalled quality.

The “Echium” title track is a blistering sub-bass monster that drives along powerfully on a bed of ticking hi-hats and chest-thumping kick. Building in momentum, smooth pads and effortless synth lines flow across the 8-minute piece before revelling in a stripped-back breakdown. Picking up the pace again in the third movement, gorgeous harmonic overtones layer delicately across each other, borne of never-ending delay sweeps.

“Stranded” continues the powerful rhythmic narrative and otherworldly sonic landscape before a percussive loop provides subtle melodic phrasing. Shifting synth sequences bisect the left-right spectrum as waves of white noise fall against a rocky outcrop of percussive hats. Melodic lines continue to evolve in delicate patterns into the second half in a sonic palette of sheer bliss.

A sumptuous bassline groove propels “The Chase” through its hypnotic paces, accompanied by a chugging rhythmic backdrop. Simultaneously, gentle synth motifs pulsate in side-chained synchronicity as a rich symphony of sound swells into the second half against a plucked earworm phrase. The result is a dynamic and devastating club-friendly track that is sure to inspire a multitude of hands-in-the-air moments.

“The Serpent” ends the quadrilogy with its rippling sound effects that cascade in spiral patterns against a melodious foreground. Delicate percussive patterns marry with a deep resonant kick to provide a rhythmic anchor, giving freeform synth motifs the opportunity to express a meandering sonic voyage that reaches a powerful crescendo at the midpoint. Hitting its stride again in the third movement with additional melodic sequencing, the result is a charismatic end to an outstanding original EP.

Coming out as one of the most talented Argentinean producers, John Cosani, was inspired from a young age by a wide spectrum of influences from Depeche Mode to Daft Punk. Now signed to some of the scene's best labels such as Onedotsixtwo, Balance and Mango Alley, John's kaledascopic sound is soundtracking the world's dance floors.

Opening with 'Hericium', a deep, rubbery groove gives way to electric synths and spiky FX. Earworm hooks and otherworldly feels greet the breakdown adding a new energy in the second half. On the flipside, 'Hoba' is a deeper, more thought-provoking cut. Icy pads underlay the skippy percussion as tension builds. Melancholy keys cut through midway and develop in the break to create an air of serene calm. Perfect warm down vibes.

Continuing a strong summer season, Madloch’s Sound Avenue imprint presents new interpretations of Nopi’s ‘Flatter’. Originally released in October of 2020 as part of the Ukrainian’s well received ‘Where to Go’ EP, the creation rounded out the collection on the strength of Sarah Chilanti’s dreamy vocals and a delicate piano top line. Now bringing new life to the much loved track, Sound Avenue invites Dmitry Molosh, about:river and GastoM to provide their own interpretations for the summer season.

The first interpretation is provided by Dmitry Molosh who returns to the label for his fifth appearance. The Belarus based producer sits firmly in progressive music’s elite class of artists, showcasing his work via Cid Inc’s Replug Records, Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Nick Warren’s Hope Recordings and Guy Mantzur’s Plattenbank Records. As a mainstay in Beatport’s sales charts, Dmitry now makes a welcome return to Sound Avenue with a powerful rendition of ‘Flatter’. Beginning with warm beats and effervescent percussion, it’s the pulsating nature of the groove which becomes instantly compelling. Driving, chunky and full of great character, it anchors what is a cosmic slice of progressive house. Emerging melodies marry luminous tones across the first act, before a break of clustered arps and colourful tonal tension spearheads an electric drop and epic finale. 

Making their label debut and providing the second interpretation of ‘Flatter’ is about:river. The Ukrainian duo is a unique collaborative project between father and son. Their productions tell a dynamic and sometimes epic story that happens to be set in a dance-groove environment. Conceptualized by father Oleg in 2018, the following year saw his 12 year old son Ervin join the project. Initially a clarinet and keyboard player, Ervin quickly became a committed member of the project, contributing not only to live performances but also in the creative process, writing the main themes of their musical creations. Now with releases via Proton’s Particles and Nie Wieder Schlafen, about:river makes their Sound Avenue debut with a gorgeous take on ‘Flatter’. From a deeper vision, the duo draws on the sensibilities of the original, utilizing Sarah’s emotive vocals over a bed of organic breakbeats, exotic percussion and creamy pianos. Placid pads and whimsical arps emerge across the seven-minute excursion, setting the scene for a heartfelt conclusion. 

Also making his label debut and providing the final interpretation of ‘Flatter’ is GastoM. Born in Mendoza and now based in Buenos Aires, the Argentinean artist fuses elements of organic and progressive house, along with live recordings of instruments and drums for a sound that is all his own. A recent remix of MartyOn & JörgK via label subsidiary 3rd Avenue has proved to be a discography highlight, immediately rising to the number one position in his Beatport best sellers just one month following the release. Now stepping up to parent label Sound Avenue, GastoM makes his debut on the much-loved Belgian imprint with a groovy interpretation of ‘Flatter’.

The 3rd episode of Peter Makto's EP trilogy on Zenebona is here. The title track OPIUM is based on the same experiences that inspired Peter to produce Synthetic Pleasure and Bedouin. 

The original track is a deep organic tune. The main theme is an epic melancholic trip with similar effects like a good opium pipe could give us.

Lucas Rossi (Hoomidaas) made a very nice organic house remix. His track is a big & long journey into dreamy dimensions.
The DSF (All Day I Dream) remix is an epic fingerprint of the Greek talent. Easy vibes and happy sounds, a real summer hit.

Clubsonica Records begins 2021 by welcoming Antrim back to the label for a new single. The Cordoba resident and Or Two Strangers boss continues to be a favourite of progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while laying claim to releases on Sudbeat Music and Hope Recordings. A prolific 2020 saw Antrim collaborate with fellow progressive music stars Interaxxis and Alex O'Rion, for releases on Cid Inc's Replug Records and Roger Martinez's Higher States, along with a solo outing for Guy Mantzur's Plattenbank Records and his chart topping Or Two Strangers vehicle 'Black Night'. Now starting the new year in style, Antrim returns to Clubsonica with 'Hoffnung', alongside remixes from Shai T and Rauschhaus.

Although best known for his progressive minded productions, Antrim often finds himself in the creative space between organic and progressive house. Such is the case with 'Hoffnung' which plays out over seven enchanting minutes. A narrative of warm swells and choir-like pads layer voluptuous bass lines and organic drums. Acting as a thematic core, the centrepiece showcases fluttery synth concepts; charming in design while moving fluidly across a radiant underbelly, as wispy effects and a rush of drums smoothly segues into a heavenly finale.

The first interpretation of 'Hoffnung' is provided by Shai T who makes his label debut. The Israeli artist has been riding a wave of success through the landscape of organic house. From his Tel Aviv studio, Shai's exquisite musical creations have found a home on the genre's most esteemed imprints, such as All Day I Dream, Anjunadeep, Do Not Sit On The Furniture, Lost Miracle and TRYBESof. Now as a regular in the Organic House Beatport Top 10, Shai makes his much anticipated Clubsonica debut with a gorgeous take on 'Hoffnung'. Always a creative remixer, the Israeli artist expands on the emotive qualities of the original with a truly breathtaking production. Full, warm and undeniably organic; it's buoyant low end, airy vocal phrasing and exotic percussion work in perfect sonic unison. An expansive centrepiece is highlighted by aquatic cascades and soaring strings, tastefully elevating mood with their elegant musicality, as the groove drops for a blissful final movement.
