Its been a while since we posted a @welovetoytoy set. Every time we play in the garden on Friday nights we have an insane amount of fun. There's just something about the crowd and the atmosphere that makes us feel at home and free to experiment with different sounds and tempos and genres. The December closing party is always extra special. Arriving at the club to see a queue of ravers snaking around the block is such a wonderful endorsement of the cult-like following that TOYTOY has created over many years of hard work and consistency.

After a short delay, we are finally able to present the long-awaited podcast by Niki Sadeki. A companion from the very beginning of our project.

Her deep, tribal-like sound is incredibly hypnotic. Sometimes it's even mystical. Sometimes spooky, but always a sound that makes you want to dance. Perfect for an after-hours session, in our opinion. The mix they recorded for us is excellent and bursts with creativity and a love of the little things. The first ten minutes alone are worth listening to, taking you straight into another world.

Katercast 093 - Franca - Kiosk ID showcase at Kater Birthday 2025 Edition

I was sleeping, exhausted from the crazy endless party from the morning before. Waking up and looking at the time I saw that I was 1am and I remembered that I was scheduled to play at 2am at Robot Heart! I quickly got dressed and jumped on my bike alongside Pao, my partner in crime. My Colombian girlfriend was confident she could see the bus in the distance, I was sure it wasn't Robot Heart, but as always I followed her insanity and we peddled for 20 minutes guided by her intuition (insanity)!

Still hungover, and even more groggy from the rushed bike ride, we arrived at a red sign. The bus no where in sight. In a moment of despair, I almost gave up, almost turned around, almost rode home. At least I could be sure of my comfortable bed. Exhausted, exhausted further from more peddling, from arguing, from thinking of my excuse for why I didn't make it for my first Robot Heart set we suddenly came across the bus! I was sure we'd missed my set or at the very least that we were very late but we made it.

With this being my first burn, finally finding and then climbing up on the bus was the most unique, magical experience for me. The experience of searching for the bus, finally playing and then struggling to find my way back to our bikes afterwards was a series of events that I'll never forget. The camp gifted me with a necklace fabricated from pieces of the original heart engraved with my name that I wear to this day!

We accept the fact of our existence so unconsciously and so easily measure our lives by years that we, at times, forget to live— live life by endlessly dividing it into parts, and enjoying the carefully hidden atoms of life that go beyond everything, especially time. We should accept everything that is happening in time as part of a parallel reality, which should by no means interfere with or even impose restrictions on our lives. Born in the city of Lille, France, Clawz SG has been a devout electronic music enthusiast for a long time and an old-school synth aficionado, having collected an impressive selection of numerous analogue vintage synthesizers. His debut release with Parquet Recordings in 2014, was a significant milestone with two cuts, 'Obvious' and 'Abyss'. From there, he has remixes & originals on imprints such as TRAUM, Natura Viva, Inlab Recordings, Blendwerk, Save Us Records and Making You Dance Records. 

In 2016, he proudly joined the Steyoyoke family with his debut 'Sounds in Motion' and has since seen releases on Particles, Natura Viva, now returning to Steyoyoke as part of the new 'Affinity' album with a lovely melodic and emotive cut entitled 'Uchronia'.

As an individual with strong family ties, he proudly upholds noble attributes within all his professional connections, which assures lasting relationships and honest partnerships within the industry.

Wow, hadn't realised what a journey SoundCloud would take me on.  After many years of passive listening to music I've dieted on a variety of tastes. My appetite for new sounds is undiminished and SC provides plenty of food. I am not a musician and have only recently started to listen positively to the sounds. My early years began listening to music from ABC, The Beatles, The Carpenters Dire Straits Eagles Fleetwood Mac Genesis Elton John Led Zeppelin Gilbert O'Sullivan Rod Stewart Supertramp Tangerine Dream Vangelis The Who and many more.
