wow Chasity..that's exactly why I don't like labels. You never completely fit, and sometimes, the group will penalize you for it. But I think they do that because they haven't found themselves. The group becomes their identity.

But in that song he was telling a specific story with that specific message for that particular girl. That relates to somebody's story, though it shouldn't be a collective message for everybody you know what I mean? For the J.Cole song. Not that I disagree with what Chasity and Emmanuel were saying about it, but I just wanted to share this perspective that I had considered.

Can feminists listen to trap?

Just a few days after the UK General Election held on 8th June, we sing, laugh and punch the air about Jeremy Corbyn and The Labour Party. It was a defeat, but a bloody glorious one.  
Constructive ranting on what it has changed in UK politics (a lot). Also a focus on what the treatment of Diane Abbott, the first black woman elected to the UK parliament 30 years ago, says about racism and sexism in the UK today.  

Since we recorded, a few things have come to light. According to YouGov, a polling company that accurately predicted a hung parliament, youth turnout was 44% in 2015 but rose to 59% this time around, something largely attributed to Corbyn.
