Chris Isaak's haunting classic "WICKED GAME" gets a modern re-interpretion by veteran producers Evan Landes from Groove Junkies & Terry Lex, along w/ singer extraordinaire Alexander Sky. 

Their previous collaboration co-produced w/ Pacha, Ibiza veteran Matt Caseli titled "We Fade," was released in early 2015 on the red hot Zulu Records imprint. The song climbed to #15 on Beatport's highly competitive Top 100 House Chart and gained support from 'A' list tastemakers from around the world. 

Now the two producers and vocalist are back with a totally unexpected Nu Disco tinged treatment of Isaac's iconic song. The Original Mix leads the way. Simplistic by design, the mix pays homage to the Isaac version, but has an identity all its own. It's primed to rock the world's most discerning dance floors and airwaves this summer & beyond!!

Evan's rich history in dance music as a Producer, DJ and Record Label owner is well chronicled and speaks for itself. Never one to be complacent and forever evolving, his recent critically acclaimed remix of Spiritchaser’s “Conch” shot to the top of the charts on Traxsource in late 2014. In Feb. 2015 his collaboration with Michele Chiavarini (Joey Negro's longtime keyboard player and arranger) & Carolyn Harding titled “Play,” resulted in a #3 hit on Traxsource's Top 100 Soulful Chart, adding another Top 10 position to his vast discography. His body of work has garnered DJ support from industry legends such as the late Frankie Knuckles, Louie Vega, David Morales, Roger Sanchez, Ben Watt, Joey Negro and Tony Humphries, Kaskade, Miguel Migs and Marques Wyatt to name a few.

He's also collaborated on highly charted dance floor anthems for the likes of Om Records, Ben Watt’s Buzzin’ Fly & Zulu Records, and has contributed to the output of iconic labels such as Island/Def Jam, A&M, Warner Bros., J Records, Interscope, Ultra, Defected, Definity, Soulfuric, Quantize & Mn2S.

Terry is no stranger to House music either. He has worked in A&R, as a DJ, producer and studio engineer since the early 90’s and has had many top releases on some of the hottest dance labels in the scene including Milk & Sugar, Zulu, Soul Heaven, InStereo, Duffnote, Erase, Liquid Deep, Tactical and Discopolis amongst many others! In 2014 and early 2015 Terry and long time collaborator Matt Caseli scored a Top 10 hit on Beatport’s TOP 100 House Chart with their amazing cover of Underworld's ''Born Slippy.”

His productions have enjoyed world wide support and plays from the scene leaders like Oliver Heldens, Mark Knight, Ummet Ozcan, Firebeats, Boy George as well as radio plays on BBC 1 UK and countless podcasts from around the world.

Clearly these are two seasoned producers who still have their fingers on the pulse of modern dance music and show no sign of letting up in 2015 & beyond.......

Groove Junkies 'Classic Reprise Mix' has been remastered and is def one for the soulful headz...a perfect set starter, ender or in betweeneer (if you're the adventurous type :-) The 'Reprise' strips things down on the first half of the song and crescendos to the full 'Classic Mix' after the 2nd chorus. It's also a great song to augment your music library. A tune with tons of heart, oozing with soul, quality and class!

74 MILES AWAY is a collaboration between producer duo MonkeyRobot, jazz pianist/composer Pierre Anckaert and flutist Stefan Bracaval. They’ll take you on a trip from the era of Bob James, Weather Report and Herbie Hancock, 80’s boogie to the future beat sound of today. Heavy analogue synth action and deep Moog basslines are omnipresent, keeping the lush Fender Rhodes sound in balance.

74 MILES AWAY’s first eponymous album was released on Melting Pot Music (2011) and featured collaborations with AHU, Miles Bonny & Carina Andersson (4 Hero). A first single from this album Same Dream Again was released on the infamous London-based label Brownswood.

Early 2013 this Belgian combo hit the studio again which resulted in this 8-track, fully instrumental album, powered by our longtime partners at Laid Back.
Eager to play and please, the band puts emphasis on their energetic live shows. And they are a real treat at the bar too, by the way.

Gifted spoken word artist and MoreHouse family member Louis Hale attended with supportive friends and spoke passionately to the crowd about how Black lives matter and how everyone can do something to make our society equal for all. Louis' incredibly moving speech is the catalyst for the epic collaboration "Inevitable (Rise Up)." Beautifully penned by Louis and masterfully produced by Groove Junkies, Munk Julious & Reelsoul (the same production team that delivered the musical backdrop for Solara's 2020 summer smash "I AM"), "Inevitable (Rise Up)" confronts systemic racism head on with power and grace. Louis' message rings loud n' clear! It comes at a point in time when our society is fractured and in desperate need of a healing. We hope you love this special release as much as we do and embrace its significance!

Louis Hale is a Spoken Word Poet who has been actively engaged in just causes and House music for many years, working with Groove Junkies, Marques Wyatt, Random Soul, Soulmagic and many others. 2020 brought out the creative juices of Producers Reelsoul & Groove Junkies (aka Groove N' Soul) who had stellar years individually and collectively. When the dust finally settled they landed on Traxsource's Top 100 Soulful House Artists of the Year Chart and earned the #3 & #14 spots respectively. Early in the year they teamed up with vocalist and House newcomer Tertulien Thomas on his MoHo debut "You Can't Hide." Their slammin' cover of David Joseph's 1983 underground soul / funk hit shot to #1 on Traxsource's Soulful House chart and clocked in at #35 on their year ending Top 200 Soulful House songs.

This time around the trio take on the Keni Burke classic "Keep Rising To The Top," a song that's filled with hope and a much needed message of self-determination for the New Year. Originally released in 1982 on RCA, Keni's uplifting and infectious song inspired generations of producers to repurpose Burke's beautiful instrumentation and vocals for decades to come. Its iconic bass-line & dreamy opening synth sounds have been sampled and used in songs by LL Cool J, Mary J. Blige, Mary Jane Girls, Redman, Dilla & Pete Rock to name a few. Re-imagining a downtempo groover and turning it into a 121BPM House jam is never an easy task, but the fellas pull it off with amazing results and ultimately put their own unique stamp on it. Tim Bailey's incredible bass coupled with Groove Junkies sturdy drum programming & deft arrangement establish the foundation for Reelsoul's luscious keys and Tertulien's heartfelt vocal. The fellas incorporation and interpretation of the Kanye West Choir's Sunday Service verse & "All Night Long" hook on the vamp is the cherry on top! Tertulien's call and response interaction with singers Nichelle Monroe, Lisa Sadowski, Tonya Sharae Davis & Solara (who provide impeccable background vocals) is pure hands in the air magic! Positive early feedback from House legends Grant Nelson, Richard Earnshaw and Hec Romero who emphatically said "LOVE THIS! YOU GUYS NAILED IT!" have us over the moon.
