This is Get To Know

This is a new sound for Get To Know. I stumbled on this as I wanted to become a "multi-instrumentalist" without having to take years out to learn, so I set myself a rule in the studio. All the musical parts had to be played in either on the keys, guitar or bass. 

This led to some horrendous music being made but eventually, I've reached the point where I'm able to sample my own playing and be happy or maybe even excited by it! 

Whilst I feel like this about the results, my enjoyment of the actual process is the same sensation x 1000.....

I've never enjoyed making music so much and I have 100s of track ideas that I'm genuinely buzzing to finish and get out there.

The 80’s super hit “We're The Popkings In Town” by Chilly group finds a new life 40 years after its original release, became a secret weapon in the sets of the DJs who were the first to get a copy of the new version. The reincarnation happened thanks to the skilful hands and minds of the Moscow duo Old's Cool, which is founded by Ruslan Tarkinsky, the art director of Gazgolder creative community, and Mike Spirit, the head of the trans space corporation Highway records. Like a snow-white dove to the familiar refrain "We love you", the new re-edited version of the popular song soars into the dance skies. Now it's got an up-to-date indie sound wrapped in a chunky groove and beats. We love you! Resistance is futile!
