The Last Bridge

I’m a Singer / Songwriter from Wrexham, North Wales. My style of playing varies on an emotional level and demonstrates a plethora of musical influences such as: T. Rex which was introduced to me at a young age by my dad, who has been a fan of Marc Bolan for a life time. The Beatles, Stereophonics, Catatonia, Manic Street Preachers, Snow Patrol and Bob Dylan along with many more were introduced to me by my older brother in the form of hand me down cassettes and CD’s, which have influenced my musical ability and playing style. Along with my broad choice in music from Claude Debussy, AC/DC, Seth Lakeman, Ryan McMullan and McFly it leads to an interesting conclusion 😂. 
 
My parents bought me my first guitar (a three quarter Encore acoustic from The Music Place) at the age of 11. Guitar lessons in school once a week is where the magic happened and it wasn’t long before I had formed my first band. We performed Oasis covers in local school discos and we thought we were young celebrities 😂. 
 
Some years later, I met Adam Astbury (who became my best friend) we formed a covers band named Ocean Avenue as well as an acoustic duo, where we had a busy gigging schedule in the pubs and clubs of North Wales and Yorkshire. 
 
Music has always and will remain forever close to my heart as one of my biggest passions and at the ripe age of 36, there’s no better time to begin a new chapter of my life, writing, recording and releasing my own songs. 
 
Where words fail and music speaks.
