Secret of Elements - Universi autem solis

A choral piece for SSAATTBB, composed by James in the Summer of 2015.

Poem by John Clare:

How sweet to be thus nestling deep in boughs,
Upon an ashen stoven pillowing me;
Faintly are heard the ploughmen at their ploughs,
But not an eye can find its way to see.
The sunbeams scarce molest me with a smile,
So thick the leafy armies gather round;
And where they do, the breeze blows cool the while,
Their leafy shadows dancing on the ground.
Full many a flower, too, wishing to be seen,
Perks up its head the hiding grass between.-
In mid-wood silence, thus, how sweet to be;
Where all the noises, that on peace intrude,
Come from the chittering cricket, bird, and bee,
Whose songs have charms to sweeten solitude.

Voyage of the Cloudrider

'Spreepark' is the third part of Rampue's single trilogy; three vocal house pieces that are independent of each other yet also related. The Berlin producer and DJs hammers his way self-confidentally but quietly through the jungle of the nervous system to the feet and to hearts.
Spreepark: Rusty spokes squeak in the wind. Heavy storm clouds race over the empty zoo of ghosts and the evening light draws dancing silhouettes on the dirty plastic maps. The ghosts ride on the ferris wheel and scream with pleasure.
