Forgive The Moon

As well as playing together as members of the English Country Blues Band and electric ceilidh band Tiger Moth, Maggie Holland (voice, guitar, banjo)and Chris Coe (voice, hammered dulcimer, concertina) toured as a popular duo, not only on the English folk scene but as far afield as Nepal, Thailand and the Philippines where they went for the British Council. Maggie had also been a member of Hot Vultures and was embarking on a solo career, and Chris had been in the celebrated '70s duo with Pete Coe and in Bandoggs and the New Victory Band. Although they recorded in all those other formats, the duo sadly never got around to making an album, so it was very pleasing to unearth a decent quality cassette of them in concert in 1983.
