"For this mix I wanted to pull together something that captures where I'm at musically in terms of what I'm listening to regularly, obsessing over and who I'm inspired by. I feel like it's a proper time capsule. I'm very thankful for the dancefloor experiences I had this summer which introduced me to some pretty incredible producers and DJs, ones who are more influenced by nature and the environment surrounding them with these organic, psychedlic textures seeping through their soundscapes. There's a lot of percussive and deep spacey elements in this mix, spanning everything from the trippy and minimal to the sometimes obnoxious style of psytrance."

Deserto tem atmosfera rarefeita. A composição aposta na repetição estendida de elementos mínimos para criar uma sensação de suspensão e isolamento.

O baixo é denso e contínuo, ocupando um papel central na sustentação da faixa, enquanto os demais elementos — texturas granuladas, ruídos de fundo e timbres pontuais — surgem de forma espaçada e controlada.

A estrutura não segue uma lógica tradicional de pista, mas sim um percurso de aprofundamento e contemplação. Deserto propõe um espaço de escuta onde o tempo se dilata e a atenção se dirige ao detalhe.


Deserto shows a sparse atmosphere. The composition relies on extended repetition of minimal elements to create a sense of suspension and isolation.

The bass is deep and sustained, playing a central role in holding the track together, while other elements — granular textures, background noise, and punctual timbres — appear sparsely and with precision.

The structure avoids traditional dancefloor logic, favoring a path of depth and contemplation. Deserto offers a listening space where time stretches and attention turns to detail.
