Hello I’m Zach. I’m from a small town in the Tennessee valley. Northeast Alabama I had the thought of creating music at a young age. Doesn’t  everyone though. I graduated high school and went to blue collar work paving highways. You might as well say July to the end of August is hell. I still pave roads today but doing the manual labor and hours you spend away from family and friends. In 2020 I discovered INZO and liked his music. I didn’t understand that electronic music is broken down to genres, then to sub genres and can get even deeper.

Making the sounds in my head come out 🍁

Hey all, my name is Zack, I'm from Emerald Park, Saskatchewan and I go by Vantablack. I like to play any unique bass music that has catchy sounds or interesting beat structures. 

My mix style is always improvisational. I will never plan a set ahead of time or play 2 sets that are the same. Any combination of songs will be realized in the moment and let to play out for as long as they sound good together.

Some names I'm inspired by are Eprom, Nit Grit, Skream, Loefah, Truth, G Jones, Charlesthefirst, Saka, Alix Perez, Deft, yunis, Subp Yao, Razat, Digital Ethos, G-Space, Enigma Dubz, Abstrakt Sonance, VCTRE, Emalkay, Culprate, Phonat, DIVERSA, Mat The Alien, Zeke Beats, Provoke. Lol I could go on but ya 

Anybody who can make a unique sound for themself in a world of bass and generic computer noises is super impressive to me.
