A society of sleepers, sleepwalkers, zombies... Nowadays, the monolithic organic mass that we represent is awake only in appearance.
Wrongly convinced of our awakening, we accept to be as anaesthetised so as not to perceive in detail all the ugliness of what our society is continuously creating.
It is possible at any moment to be startled and realise that we are not living in a dream but in a waking nightmare.
The fate we allow ourselves to inflict on minorities or other animal species... the totalitarian or corrupt governments that we allow to act with impunity and our selfishness in general are enough to psychologically shake most humans. This is probably why they have decided to let themselves be carried away like sleepers today. Keeping control of one's life, one's opinions or one's integrity requires an awakening that would confront them with the brutal reality of what we humans have put in place?
Wake up, you sleepers. The world is what it is and it will not be better until we come out of the lethargy that reigns as a tacitly accepted rule...
