 ألبوم "عالم ثاني" من الحان وكلمات وغناء مايا الخالدي و انتاج توليف. الالبوم مستلهم من الفلكلور الفلسطيني متأثراً بالحاضر ليتخيل مستقبلاً صوتياً ما. كل الأغاني تتضمن إما كلماتاً أو ألحاناً أو عزفاً من تسجيلات صوتية من أرشيف الموسيقى التقليدية التابع لمركز الفن الشعبي. يتأثر غناء وتلحين مايا الخالدي في موسيقى غربية مختلفة ولكن في هذا الألبوم تتعلم مايا وتمارس الموسيقى التقليدية الفلسطينية ، وتصل إلى تعبير صوتي جديد خاص بها ، وهو في حالة تغير مستمر. تستخدم مايا الخالدي في التلحين في ألبوم "عالم تاني" التكرار وبناء طبقات من ألحان وأصوات وكلمات في الأغاني كوسيلة لاستعادة وتكرر الموسيقى الفولكلورية. 

The album "Other World", is composed, written and sung by Maya Al-Khaldi and produced by Tawleef. 
The album is inspired by Palestinian folklore, influenced by the present, to imagine a sonic future. All songs include either lyrics, melodies, or recordings from the audio archive of the traditional Palestinian music of the Popular Art Center in Ramallah
The singing and composition of Maya Al-Khaldi is influenced by different western music styles, but in this album Maya learns and practices Palestinian traditional music, arriving at a new vocal expression of her own, which is in constant flux. In this album,Maya Al-Khaldi uses repetition and layering of melodies, sounds, and lyrics in songs as a way to reclaim and re-interpret folkloric music.

The project aims at publishing the Artist’s first solo album consisting of three
tracks inspired by the October 17 th revolution in Lebanon. Following a long
period of despair and disappointment, the night of October 17 th offered a lot of
surprises and excitement. For the first time in Lebanon, we lived a moment of
spontaneity that united us all for one demand: Good Living.
A few months after its inception, I try to gather scenes from the first nights of
the revolution and remember this feeling. The songs presented in the album
are based on audio clips from videos I filmed during the protests, in addition
to voices and music from the streets that lived in uprisings during the same
period of the Beirut uprising, such as Iraq and Chile; the sound of fire, the
saxophone playing during clashes in Chile, bouzouki and percussion
instruments, in addition to the my voice as a singer.
After five months of protesting on the streets, the COVID19 pandemic locked
us in our homes and interrupted the uprising’s momentum. A feeling of
loneliness haunted me during this isolation and I began to recall sounds,
pictures, and events from the uprising that gave me energy to continue. Here I
started working on the first song of this trilogy, “The Boy of October 17”
This trilogy will pass through three phases, reflecting three cases that we have
experienced during the course of the uprising:
First: Euphoria – a lot of daydreaming
Second: Fear that this dream will stop
Third: Recession

Suite du projet « Contes en choeur» de 2021/2022 ayant rassemblé 204 élèves de Moselle et 10 enseignants des municipalités d'Amnéville, Bettelainville, Boulay-Moselle, Maizières-lès-Metz, Momerstroff, Roupeldange et Semécourt, les élèves des trois bassins concernés ont travaillé à la création d'un conte musical sur le thème « Au fil de l'eau » avec le compositeur Thomas Nguyen et les musiennes intervenantes Fabienne Ritz et Marie-Pierre Pongy.

En 2022/2023, l'ensemble des créations a été valorisé sous la forme d'un outil répertoire. 60 élèves du Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de l'Eurométropole de Metz ont pris part à ce projet, sous la houlette d'Annick Hoerner et d'Emmanuelle Guillot, accompagnés par 5 instrumentistes et 1 narrateur. Le répertoire est ainsi amené à pérenniser le projet en Lorraine et bien au-delà, soit avec le Collectif Io, soit à l'usage des écoles seules.
