The internet became a real place on 02.07. The virtual and individually immersive brand of Anomaly Radio materialised into the reality of the Sisyphos dancefloor. From 8am to 10pm the Berlin sun shone, the obscure melodies played and the kinetic bodies moved. We were lucky to record 10 out of the 16 hours of music from the day. 

Enticing us to create an online space that infuses the tangible with the digital; Anomaly Live. A place where we will release exclusive sets from Anomaly takeovers or shows from around the world. AL will also share recordings from our favourite artists at clubs and festivals. 

Installment #1 is courtesy of Anomaly Radio co-founder, Harry Hooper. (nothing like nepotism to get balls rolling). 3 dynamic hours of deep house coolly spun with indie dance and melodic techno. We’re broadcasting the humble eccentricity that is Sisyphos through Anomaly air waves.

That they never expected to hear their mother tongue in tracks on a club system. And as pleased as I am to have served as a conduit, it's also a reminder of how rare this is. "No dust for three very strange years… This very special place and everything it represents and involves started to be a beautiful but distant memory. Finally going back was nothing but great, and celebrating Ten years of Mayan Warrior (and nine of myself being involved with it) made it even more unique. Every time we linked with Robot Heart in the past meant a lot to me because it was a vibrant proof of the hard work behind the whole operation and what we are as a community, so playing at this years link night having the cherry on top of maxa camp’s deer as a special guest was the best comeback I could have asked for. Playing surrounded by people I love in front of all this magical creatures creating one big single entity reminded me why I do what I do… Thank you all."
