There are many techno producers whose works are devoid of the subtleties that would suggest a wider musical competency and understanding. Then there are those whose grooves are infused with painstakingly produced little details and a sense of wonderment that reaches beyond beyond mere dance floor functionality. 

Whether he’s producing thumping techno or down tempo chill out, David Gtronic’s sense of musicality always shines through. He is largely known for what he likes to term “aggressive”, hard grooving techno - but it’s those obscured flourishes of organic elements that colour his sound which really set him apart from the pack. 

2013 saw the Miami born musician grace some of the World's coolest clubs and parties; from tINI & the Gang to Viva Warriors, We Are FSTVL to Miami WMC, his eclectic and carefully-crafted journey-style DJ sets impressed many a music aficionado. Now based in Berlin, honing his production skills, David is equally renowned across Europe and the World as an irrefutably talented producer, with a distinct versatility that has made him revered by the likes of techno deities including Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Loco Dice and Dubfire.

Captivating releases to date, include successful tracks on Suara, Monique Musique, Kina Music, Serkal, Oblack and Moan Recordings and remixes for the likes of Santos and Yaya. And this year will see no sign of David's production levels slowing...

First-up in 2014 is the eagerly anticipated release of the remixed edition of ‘Lagrimas del Sol’, a 5 track mini-album collaboration between David and our very own 'Lilith', on one of London's most exciting and dynamic independent labels 'Art of Dark'. 

Due to the resounding popularity of the original release last June, which can only be defined as sophisticated, emotional and authentic techno of the highest order, this has since led to the album now being remixed by Kate Simko, Tomas Rubeck, Zefzeed, Ilario Liburni, DJ Medeew & Chicks Luv Us, and is due out again on Art of Dark on January 27th.

This intelligently crafted infusion of innovative and experimental sounds, really does set the tone for how 2014 will inevitably unfold for one of the hottest prospects of the year.

And so without further ado we are very privileged to welcome David to provide the first instalment of our Guerilla Agency Exclusive Guest Mix Series, for your listening pleasure.
