Some Guest - Some Trax 2

The garage edits you always wanted, but didn't know existed yet, have just landed on your feet, courtesy of a mysterious Irish artist and the Cheeky Music Group’s sub-label, Fruity Edits. Today we premiere a track from this 'Artfully Dodged Edits' EP.

Found on an old hard drive amongst other dutty delights, the artist in question has released on Hypercolour Records and Dixon Avenue Basement Jams - gaining repute for their hair-raising riddims - but here the Unknown Artist throws it back to the early 00's with three cuts of nostalgic, fun UKG.

The track we premiere today is the artist's rendition of JT’s ‘Cry Me A River’ which is a clever blend of skippy drums and instantly recognisable nostalgia, using only astutely selected sounds and a double-dose of personality to create something simultaneously true to its origin but undeniably its own.

Also on the EP are tracks ‘Africa’ which kicks things off with a flurry of syncopated beats and peachy bass and ‘Forgot About Dre’ which is a certified classic alongside a slinky UK garage backdrop to hit the sweet-spot between old and new. 

We’re not sure who the mystery artist is, but it’s definitely not Carlton Doom… You can support the release and purchase the 3 track EP on vinyl and digital via the BUY link.

 Deep down Tel Aviv streets, a wild, rotten, brutal sound has emerged. "Ghetto Sallameh" arrives by the hand of Adi Yair, a dear friend and already known ninja from the Bogoture Recs fam, directly from Israel and with heavy cargo!

An unbelievable, out of this world, frenetic, corrosive, madly blasting, dynamyc, first class electro EP; a reunion of 5 tracks with all the fatness and juice that we know u dear Bogos love, with huge, sick saturated basslines, violent, prominent, terrorific vocals that will rust ur ears, if ur soundsystem don't fall apart first, amazingly crafted, addictive, ultra sharp drums and an outstanding range of synths and clever, tasty layers during all the ride.

We have between hands a 10/5 stars release that leaves a great score for our friend and incredible artist, Adi Yair, and for sure a super amazing, exciting comeback for the Bogoture Recsss team, and once more, we couldn't be more happy. The tracks speak for themselves (they literally speak), so just take a seat and listen (if u can remain seated of course) and put some light clothes, cause u are gonna sweattt babyyy!!

We are back with our third annual various artist compilation.) Emotional Voyage is back with its third annual various artist compilation. This time we welcome 13 talented artists which differ in style but who all hold the key component to create sonic bliss. In this journey we take you through a mostly dance-floor oriented spectrum of our sound. The VA is packed with thumping club bangers, to summer bass rave and liquid breaks. The underground aspect is held high here in combination with the urgent need to experiment with sound. Holding on to this red line we are thrilled to present to you a mash up of moods all high on vibes!

A key component to the track follow order on each of our VA’s is the idea of a homogenous flow from one track to another. This idea leans on our childhood memories of a natural album flow so many of our heroes provided. We therefor encourage you to take your time and listen to each track in running order.
