There's no doubt that Benzi is one of the most triumphant and prolific DJs on earth and a true master of the mixtape. Both his Girl Trapz and Get Right Radio series have achieved worldwide acclaim and praise from both fans and his contemporaries. There's no producer who wouldn't benefit from having their music showcased in the finely crafted and produced mixes. But that's not all that makes Benzi such a force in the world of electronic music, and verily, music in general. He's half of well known duo TWRK, with eSenTRIK and they racked up millions of streams with releases on Mad Decent and Capitol Records. BENZI then became the first resident DJ on Diplo & Friends on BBC Radio 1 and helmed his own show #BANGUERS with BENZI' that ran on Sirius/XM for three years. In recent times BENZI can be found looking to take over the music industry from the inside. He launched Parametric Records under the umbrella of Atlantic/APG and saw instant success with a string of big singles released all in the span of two years. This lead him to his current position at Steve Aoki’s DIM MAK Records where he serves as the main tastemaker and A&R.

Ghettophiles is not just a record label, it’s an artist collective.  Some of us don’t know how to produce tracks, some of us don’t know how to dj, some of us don’t know how to type, and some of us don’t know how to do anything besides blog.  We’re all about local scenes, and making sure that whether or not they get international attention, the leaders, innovators, creators, and legends of each community are able to have sustained love and support from their own community.  Right now, we’ve got a lot of Juke, Footwork, and a lil bit of Jersey Club.  We’re going to have more, but also some ghetto tech,  dub, moombahton, and of course since we’re from chicago, house music.

DJ, producer, and house music enthusiast, Francisco Hernandez born and raised in the Southside of Chicago, IL. When not performing, he spends his time in the studio creating his music with the aid of his family and the influence of house music culture growing up. Starting in 2008, Francisco has spent much of his time to develop his sound. For him, it’s all about the mood set and a deep and hypnotic groove… playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, or style. Don’t be surprised when you suddenly find yourself dancing.

Being raised under a roof where house music, hip hop, break, and Spanish influences coexisted led to be the basis of his love for music. Taking that foundation and infusing it with his love for both juke and house music, Francisco ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of sound. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and combines all the pieces of this music that he prefers best. As a producer he taps into his local influences where house music was born and raised and continues that tradition today.

The Swedish DJ/producer-group have always been on a journey of musical discovery. Whilst traveling through time and space the dancefloor astronauts have put together a kaleidoscope of influences that let them create their own lane in the global dance music scene. They’ve never backed down from diving into the newest and freshest sounds, always experimenting and searching for the perfect beat. This was done always with the same goal - to blow up the dancefloor. Their relentless curiosity and musical fearlessness have led them to score an array of hits with such artists and collaborators as Swedish Gnucci, Veronica Maggio and Blaya of Buraka Som Sistema.
But to paraphrase Paulo Coelho - the gold you seek is most often in your backyard. And after an endless journey, the trio returned to the music they fell in love with in their youth - Dancehall. The Jamaican influences were ever present through Mash Up International’s career, but after visiting The Island they decided to explore them to the full extent. Over there they worked with, among others, the Ninjaman protogé Don Husky and Dancehall starlet Shenseea.
Mash Up International’s home has always been the dancefloor. They are a multitudinous energy cannon blasting pure bombs of joy across every dancefloor they touch. With one foot steadily rooted in Jamaican sound system culture, but with no scruples when it comes to experimentation. Their steady growing arsenal of edits and remixes makes every Mash Up International club experience a unique one. Mash Up International are, always has been, and will always be about pure joy and club energy. From now to infinity.

The single “Waistline Ting” ft. Shenseea was released in the last quarter of 2017. The song has gotten radio, club, and dance class support from all over the world. The Instagram dance challenge #WaistlineTingChallenge generated over 600k views, 70 videos from 25 countries.
The first release of 2017 was a track with Swedish artist Ji Nilsson called “Put It On”. A club scorcher where bone crushing Dembow meets dreamlike melodies and searing Ji Nilsson-vocals. It follows up with an uptempo afrobeat flavored remix by American producer Deejay Theory as the first release of 2018.

M.U.I recently released the Pool Night Riddim EP featuring artists like Nyanda (Brick & Lace), Tifa, Bay-C (T.O.K), Don Husky, Nemesis and three South Korean artists, SKULL, jeebanoff & M.TySON. The riddim got its world premiere on Red Bull Radio, check out dance videos and more on Instagram under the hashtag #PoolNightRiddim.
