Embarking on a new musical journey, I'm venturing beyond my usual sound to push my creative boundaries. This endeavor serves as both a personal challenge as a producer and a glimpse into the diverse sonic landscapes I can craft.

Currently, I'm immersed in the creation of a 14-track album dedicated to one of my favorite underground genres - 'Synthwave'. This project has been a revitalizing experience after a brief hiatus from production. Mental struggles, self-doubt, and a loss of motivation led me to reassess my artistic direction. As 2024 unfolds, I've decided to break free from being a mere "Crowd Pleaser" and release the pressure of conforming to a specific identity. My goal is for my name to resonate as an artist and producer, representing something unique beyond the confines of a genre label like "tech house DJ."

Ghosstek is an independent DJ/producer from Boyle Heights, California, blending the pulse of Tech House, Latin Tech, Minimal, and Bass House with deep cultural roots. A Chicano with a love for horror aesthetics and Halloween vibes, Ghosstek brings his heritage to the dance floor—flipping Spanish classics, sampling reggaetón bangers, and lacing his tracks with Latin percussion like timbales, bongos, and cumbia guiros.

Raised in a musical household and inspired by his dad’s DJ hustle, Ghosstek’s journey started young—piano keys under his fingers and House music in his ears. From rocking SoCal club sets in Pomona, OC, and DTLA to crafting tracks in his home studio, he keeps the energy high and the vibe authentic. Whether he’s spinning groovy tech or gritty bass, every set feels like a party between him and the crowd.

With a background as a barber and a former band kid turned beatmaker, Ghosstek channels his experience into his sound. His mission? To rep his community, share his culture, and one day launch a record label in his hometown that teaches the next generation how to DJ, produce, and chase their passion.

He’s not just here to make noise—he’s here to move hips, build something lasting, and put on for the people who grew up just like him.
