Ghost Box is a record label for a group of artists exploring the musical history of a parallel world. The roster includes The Advisory Circle, The Focus Group,  Pye Corner Audio, Belbury Poly and Beautify Junkyards. Guest artists include Broadcast, Cavern of Anti-Matter, John Foxx and Paul Weller

These are The Voltz, power prepped pop melodisists, frenzily fashioned with grit and glitter.
Like chips with beer, they slip down golden time traps, flashing sonic shimmers of bubblegum crunch and star drenched stratoscopes. 

This Northern 5 piece do it their way, with a platform shoe in the last century and a space boot in the 21st.

Aaltra is a 3 piece that combines spoken word with the sounds of old broken drum machines & dusty synthesizers. This came together originally to soundtrack several films to go with Stephen's stories produced by BAFTA nominated film-maker Annie Watson, of which "Shoes that Walk Alone" was shown as part of the London Short Film Festival at the ICA last year. 
 

Stephen Scott is the author of "Researching Oblivion" as Scott Murfin (Spout Publishing) and other tales of kitchen sink horror as published in THE TEXT, Transmission, Now Then and Beat the Dust. Recent anthologies have included FUGUE [Siren 2014] and WORDLIFE [Wordlife 2016] and he has read in various places including Yorkshire, London, Berlin and Poland. 
 

He was previously a member of Sheffield's Meat for a Dark Day along with Mark Armstrong who provides the music along with Mick Russon. Prior to Meat for a Dark Day, Mark was a member of (ex-Hula, Cabarat Voltaire) Nort's band Yonni and also DJed various shades of Techno & electronica with such artists as Aphex Twin, Autechre, Jeff Mills, Andrew Weatherall etc. Mick Russon is a prolific visual artist, multi-instrumentalist and coach driver.

James Cessford's research into the ancient sites of North Yorkshire and the Pennines drew him to the town of Chapelkill near Whitby where he is now forced to live and work.

James has been involved in much of the town's recent creative output including the Institute of Chronophotography, the International Festival and the local publishing house, the Chapelkill Press. 

James's short stories have been published in the Idler, the Illustrated Ape and broadcast several times on the wireless.
