Sometimes a cowboy is just a man in a cowboy suit. 

Unconventional, quirky, and ominous have been used to describe the sounds of the San Francisco based power trio, the Illogistical Resource Dept. The I.R.D.’s bass heavy approach to songwriting comes from a wide range of influences including Primus, Rush, Porcupine Tree, King Crimson, Tool, Devo, and Pink Floyd.

So this is Music I can't help but call FuCK UGLY......

It's a full expression of things that live in my head. 

The songs names come from words that are real words and names that I think are cool. Most are places I'd love to visit.......Some day.......

My goal with this project was to create songs with odd break times and odd time signatures. To explore what happens when I step outside the realms of my normal structure and re-introduce an element of surprise. I'd like to spawn the new genre of OddBreaks.......Thats what I call it.....You'll probably call it something else......I'm eager to see.....
