Arne Maeyaert aka Mr Majar, is een 20 jarige DJ/Producer uit Roeselare.

Out of the shadows and onto the stage comes Ghost Alive bringing his unique style of music to the masses. Coming from a sound design background and always being a huge fan of electronic music, this producer / DJ incorporates many different styles into his live sets and is always striving to give you tracks off of the beaten path. Bringing you the finest in dubstep and drum'n'bass, each Ghost Alive set is an experience. Always on the search for the best in underground electronic bass music and always finding new ways to bring something fresh to the scene, this man behind the decks is working hard to take his live shows to the next level. Incorporating hip-hop, grime, reggae and big vocals into his performances, he is always looking to keep it funky and keep the crowd moving. After years of going to events and immersing himself in the culture, this electronic music fan decided to step up and share his love of epic sounds and heavy bass to the world's dancefloors. He joined the 814 Bass Crew in 2011 and has been taking listeners on a journey of sound at many shows in the Erie and Pittsburgh area. The future is bright for Ghost Alive with his mixes being featured on Digitally Imported Radio, iHeart radio, Deeper Vibrations, Spectrum, Meditate on Bass Weight, the 1200 Dreams website and a multitude of blogs online showcasing his talent. Jaded raver & metal kid from Houston, Texas from the late 90s-2000s. Major influences in MUSIC would have to be Paul Oakenfold, Max Graham, Slipknot, Chemical Brothers, Digweed, SBTRKT, Aphex Twins, Prodigy, ICP, Korn, Felix da Housecat, UGK, Godsmack, DJ Pollywog, Ghostmane/Suicide Boys, and Aphrodite (amongst many many others). I decided years back to live a quieter and more simple life, so I packed up, left the city, and moved out to the country side in Texas and began an organic and pasture raised poultry farm. Living to feed the soul, I can focus on the joys of living with closer to genuine appreciation for life through creativity. Art and Music has been a passion of mine, my whole life; as I am classically trained in piano and cello. However, through musical ear, I have picked up many other instruments, like the guitar and drums for example. As far as production, I have always had a love for electronic music, for it can be manipulated in a way no other instrument can (in my opinion) to bring out how I feel in that current state of being and imagination. Each song, wether those like or understand it, is it’s own journey, emotion, story, and or feeling I want the listener or just myself to feel. I hope you enjoy.
