Fat! Records are proud to present the newest signings to our roster, the London based house duo, Change State.
A couple of months back they hit us up with a stellar little bootleg of Marvin Gaye’s 'Heard It Through The Grapevine', which we went onto release via one of our free Fat! Club EPs.
Since then, their profile and they've been non-stop in the studio, cooking up a feast of new material; the result is a three track EP of full flavour House vibes and Garage tinged beats.

All About is the clear stand out track with its driving organ stabs and seductive vocals cuts; some shades of early Masters at Work on this one.
Been Here Before dives straight into the mix with skippy, vibrant percussion and atmospheric stabs that tease you before a driving low end cuts in under a seriously soulful female vocal.
Finally, taking us Way Deep for the final track, Change State flip the script completely with a supercharged Garage House roller.

After months of keeping this project secret, we present to you our track Silver Sun with New York City's own Anna Yvette on vocals.

We spent a whole lot of time producing the track, trying to add a mix of elements from all of our previous tracks (like usual), and we really hope you are going to like it! Keep an eye out for that second break :)

All four had been music obsessives from a young age but this was the first time they had ever played music with other people who felt the same way. Things gelled immediately…
