Perfect Blind is a chillout/downtempo/freestyle project of Igor Čeranić (Zagreb, Croatia). Being interested in music since childhood, in 2003 year he began to write and produce his own material under the influence of musicians and bands like Delerium, Juno Reactor, Jean Michel Jarre, Hallucinogen, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Lustmord, Vangelis, etc. Since 2006 he released several EP’s, tracks and remixes (digital and CD) for Croatian netlabel Diggarama, Akashic Records, Neogoa, Olotropo Records, Uxmal Records and his debut album was released in 2011 on Omnitropic, sublabel of Ektoplazm. In addition to chill music, he's producing various music under other aliases. His other projects are Deimos – psytrance and progressive solo act, Dual Barrel – psytrance and downtempo collab with PsiloCybian, and two metal bands he’s a part of – Subscale and Substance Black.

Dubmission Records have licensed the first 3 EPs by Akasha Experience to Dubmission and to celebrate they asked me to put together a short mix of tracks.

Previously Akasha Experience have been known simply as Akasha but as there are sixteen other recording artists/bands using the same name, this was causing some confusion, to say the least!

The tracks featured in this set are all taken from 'The Chain' , 'Shamanized' and 'One Drop' EPs, which were all previously released by other labels, but are now available from Dubmission via http://akashaexperience.bandcamp.com/. 'One Drop' is also out now via iTunes and other digital sites, with 'The Chain' available from April 7th, and 'Shamanized' from May 5th.

Shanti Planti series continous with LIQUID LOUNGE.

Known to family and friends as Ian but it’s under the pseudonym of Liquid Lounge, a UK based dj, that you’ll probably be more familiar with or more likely to have heard of…
Like any other dj, Ian cut his teeth at house parties and small one-off club events back in the 1990’s but it was playing in the chill out, supplying a quirky mix of abstract electronica, Pink Floyd, Indian raga’s and dub that the Liquid Lounge was born.

Now utilising the technology of a laptop and a Traktor controller for his music presentation, the Liquid Lounge sets are filled with the chilled and downtempo genres he likes to immerse himself in, ranging from psybient to dub, electronica to world/ethnic beats, psydub to ambient trance, psybass to temple step…and all woven together in his own meandering style…

Over the years, the Liquid Lounge has also shared the stage with luminaries such as The Orb, Eat Static, Banco de Gaia, Globular, Desert Dwellers, Tripswitch and Terra Nine and his Shanti Planti brethren for one-off events along the way…

As well as countless club events and gigs around the UK, the Liquid Lounge has played at Rainbow Serpent (Aus), Goa Dupa (PL), Triplicity, Whirl-y-Fayre, Sunrise Celebration, Beat-Herder, Sundance, Alchemy, Bearded Theory, Playing for Change and Shamania festivals… amongst others

Also, the Liquid Lounge is label dj for the Shanti Planti Collective, which includes the likes of Akasha Experience, Globular, Whitebear, Eurythmy, Somatoast, Wolf Tech, Beatroots, Sixis, Mumushku, Bumble, Quanta, Land Switcher, Tribone, Bogtrotter, Ecometric and more amongst their ranks…
