A moody soul sega fusion from the band Les Stardust featuring Lelou on vocals and Mike Pillay on keys, taken from new Strut Records compilation documenting the heyday of sega music in Mauritius between 1973 and 1979. Album is compiled by La Reunion-based DJs La Basse Tropicale with extensive sleeve notes by Mauritian cultural authority, Percy Yip Tong.

For nigh on a decade, LORD ECHO has toiled to bring forth his 'Melodies' - and I for one believe that congratulations are in order. There was a time when ECHO was but a lowly studio engineer, plying his thankless trade amid a dingy succession of struggling artistes. His was that seedy milieu - the nether region inhabited by musicians, electrical repair technicians and second hand dealers. From such inauspicious beginnings Echo has raised a glittering oeuvre - Bravo
