The Revealed Recordings boss and boundary-pushing producer, Hardwell, releases the teaser for the long waited collaboration track with Dutch shooting duo W&W, "Jumper", due out this Monday August 5th. With the whole world watching, Hardwell has been undertaking a rapid transformation into the influential mega-star that he initially set out to be with only the power of music in his grasp. While opening his Tomorrowland liveset of last weekend with 'Jumper' and being named one of the absolute highlight sets of the 3 day festival with already over 1 million views in under two days http://youtu.be/ZG1AT6tylA4 Hardwell maintains his world-class output and demonstrates why he has been gaining so much attention. 

His fellow Dutchmen, W&W, have also been on top of their game this year with releases like the Beatport chart-topper "The Code," released on Revealed Recordings so it was a simple decision to enlist them as collaborators for "Jumper". Paired together while touring, they have created a Summer festival anthem that will be heard on main stages, at clubs, and everywhere in between. 

Hardwell, alongside W&W, unravels yet another anonymous highlight from his landmark Ultra Music Festival set back in March. As you would expect from the union of two undisputed titans of the Dutch house overhaul, "Jumper" brings three of the nation's most capable young club advocates together for a new and powerful precedent in the sound of modern dance music. A grinding electro anthem dealing in bursts of subtle melodic euphoria, "Jumper" keeps the adrenaline high from start-to-finish. The track not only emphasizes the leaps and bounds both Hardwell and W&W have taken over the years, but also the unprecedented stamina still found in Revealed's ascent of the peak time skyline. One things for certain -- this is an anthem with digital market domination written all over it.

About W&W
Dutch duo and current #25 in the DJ MAG Top 100. Their smash single "The Code" is one 2013's most popular having entered the DMC Buzz Chart at #1 and spending over two weeks at #1 on the Beatport Main Chart. It was also considered by many to be the track this years Miami gathering. W&W followed it up with 'D#Fat' (w/ Armin van Buuren) , a remix of Armin's "This Is What It Feels Like;" and just recently with their latest own label Mainstage Music release 'Thunder' all of which received significant plays on the world's biggest stages.

Melbourne resident Sui Zhen’s ‘Female Basic’ showcases her own version of Japanese post-punk through a dreamy baleric-bossanova filter.

Having graduated from the Redbull Music Academy in London alongside the likes of Daisuke Tanabe & Andras Fox, Female Basic sees Sui Zhen move away from her previous beautiful bedroom-pop on to something more minimal and mysterious.  Influenced as much by long sunny days spent in Osaka as nights in Shinjuku record stores hunting for Mariah & Dip in the Pool vinyl, Sui Zhen gives us the soundtrack for a slow-motion, late night disco found somewhere between Australia & Japan.

Female Basic is available from May 1st through Teto Records on limited edition cassette and digital.  5 tracks & 25 minutes of minimal pop perfection.  All cassettes come with download code with high quality digital versions of all included songs.

After dropping several tracks and performing at select festivals throughout the years, Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen dedicated the year 2014 to explore the area in-between Ólafur’s more acoustic, piano-based solo work and Janus’s synth-heavy electro pop, with their collaborative electronic project Kiasmos.

By focusing solely on their self-titled debut album, Ólafur and Janus have been able to combine and further develop their unique sound aesthetics to complete an album driven by their mutual love for electronic music. Made in Ólafur’s newly build studio in Reykjavík, Iceland, a majority of the album was recorded using acoustic instruments next to a variety of synthesisers, drum machines and tape delays. It features a live drummer, string quartet and Ólafur performing on the grand piano, producing an ambient, textured sound, which makes it a perfect home listen and equally danceable record. If you listen closely, you can spot them record the thumb piano, finger snapping and even the sound of the metal grinder of a lighter slowly to replace the usual electronic hi-hat sounds, giving the album a far more intimate and unique atmosphere.

“We decided to start almost completely over with this record, so most of the material is written this year with the idea of making a record that can stand as one piece rather than a collection of songs. I am very excited to get a proper record out exploring a different territory than I am used to. I touch a lot on electronic genres in my own music but never have the opportunity to go full out electronic like we do here.” – Ólafur Arnalds

“The Kiasmos project has been around since 2009, but because of all our other projects we never really got the time to sit down and write all the tracks we always wanted to. So when we early this year finally found the time to sit down and make a full length album there was so much we wanted to try out. For all the wonderfully subtle shell-breaking he did on his full-length, Mark E falls back on old, slow habits for his new single, “The Day.” And welcomely, we might add. Pitching things down to a basement lounge floor crawl, the Midlands DJ/producer wraps his always chugging kicks and snares in serpentine synth-bass, jazzy, tripleted hi-hats, and moaning, wordless soul vocals. Its grasp is tantric—hinting coyly at ecstatic release, but never fully delivering. For the vinyl junkies that bought STONE BREAKER and missed out on it the first time around (it was absent from that version), this release should be a no brainer.

And the oft imitated, never replicated Prins Thomas shows up on the flip for a (naturally) eleven-minute revamp of “The Day,” livening up the bass and drum patterns, adding in strings, piano, guitar, organ, and ending up with something that totally could have emanated from a Camaro at some point in the early seventies. (Albeit, one owned by someone with interest in eleven-minute instrumentals.) It even has a fade out!
