GhostlyCast #92 comes from Reggie Dokes, a DJ, producer, and composer considered by DJ Mag to be one of several artists keeping the sound of Detroit alive internationally. His output spans work in film/television and releases with various dance labels, including his own imprint Psychostasia Recordings. "Dokes is equally comfortable producing hip-hop, house and techno but his tracks rarely fall so neatly into such categories, carrying an otherworldliness that's as distinctive as it is difficult to define," says Resident Advisor, for their recent Exchange interview. His Ghostlycast reflects that unbound spirit and respect for the past; the potent mix begins in Chicago and works its way into Detroit, featuring tracks old and new.
