She’s going nowhere, quickly, she’s in pieces
Distracted by an image, by ideal faces
Walking backwards, falling, forever changing
Her mind in a world of her own
She’s dreaming, always, of better places
Of a new existence, leaving no traces
Of her ever being the girl with no one to love

Oh she’s…got no place to go
Her whole life’s on show
Just wanting to leave
It all behind her
Now she…lives out her dream
Just like a scene
From her favourite movie
But will she ever see
Her falling star to wish upon
That falling star to dream upon
