This is a recording from the first hour of Sustain/Release, a monthly event held at The Legionnaire Saloon in Oakland. In this time, participants were invited to experiment with a Modular synthesizer and Moog Sub37 provided by Travis Blitzen of Ghost of Lightning.

This ridiculous weakness is perhaps one of our more stupid melancholy propensities, for is there anything more stupid than to be eager to go on carrying a burden which one would gladly throw away, to loathe one’s very being and yet to hold it fast, to fondle the snake that devours us until it has eaten our hearts away?

Nackt - Scheherazade (City Mix)

I've really been amazed by Todd Barton's Krell patch and I've made a few attempts at translating it to the eurorack format. But I haven't been totally satisfied with the results. I took a break from exploring this patch and revisited it with a new and fresh approach. I'm pretty satisfied with this recording andI plan on leaving the patch up for a few days and record some videos and write the patch down for future development. 
I hope you enjoy this analog soundtrack to the mythical movies of my mind. Ohm
