Caught the last bit of summer in Berlin, dj'ing to a sun kissed audience hanging out on the grounds of Garten Der Welt in Marzahn.

Whilst in Stockholm I was a frequent visitor to Fasching Jazz club after being introduced to the spot by the brilliant poet Joshua Idehen. After striking up a friendship with the promotor there I asked if I could support a musical hero of mine who was playing live nearer the end of my stay in Sweden. Got lucky I guess.
This set is split into three parts, before Makaya’s set, during the intermission and after.
It was fun working out what to play for this one, got my jazz groove and boom bap on that’s for sure.

Pure happenstance, I walked into Jade records, was impressed by their catalogue and got chatting to the manager and owner. 
What can I say, i'm a music nerd.
Next thing I know I was asked to play a set for their instore sessions series. Every instore session they do has a theme and being that I was in Sweden on a visual art residency I went with ‘Vinyl records I bought whilst in Stockholm’…When I travel I make a habit of buying records that reflect my current emotions and if possible the current state of the world, creating part of an archive of my time on this planet.
