Imagine starting with a blank canvas of sound, a void, and then gradually introducing points or seeds, each emitting a unique tone or sound. These seeds represent the centres of the Voronoi cells. As you move away from each seed point, the intensity or characteristics of the sound gradually shift.

The distances between the seeds dictate the patterns and rhythms of the soundscape. Close seeds generate similar sounds, creating harmonies or repeating motifs, while distant seeds introduce contrast and variation.

As the sounds evolve and interact, influenced by the shifting boundaries and relationships between the Voronoi cells. Some regions may grow louder and more dominant, while others fade into the background, creating a dynamic and indelible mark on the sonic landscape.

While Scalameriya's first album, Hubris (2016) on Genesa Records, was an exploration of what he considered "uncharted territory" at that time, Aeon Core (2022) on Perc Trax, on the other hand, was a process of cataloguing the various techno influences from his teenage years, seen through the lens of his modern, unmistakable style.
The next chapter of Scalameriya's turbulent saga in electronic music is Kornukopiya (2024), the manifesto of a mad scientist, a depiction Nikola resisted for years that ultimately became an embraced part of his persona as he finally takes on the lab coat of a genre-defying artist he was bound to become.
His documented, unwavering discipline has transformed into nothing less than rituals that are performed daily, securing him the grace of the muse as a result.
With Kornukopiya, Scalameriya ventures beyond the ordinary and dashes to the forefront of avant-garde club music, evading the shackles of conventional techno yet again while he effortlessly showcases his limitless hyperphantasia across 25 tracks, each as relentless and articulate as the other, making this album an auditory opulence for listeners eager to experience more than just a simple interaction between an effective kick and a random blip.
Always remaining conceptual, worshiping the idea and imagination as sacred phenomena, this time he consolidates the ever-recurring motifs of sci-fi, danger, and weight in his music with the mystical, bringing forth coherent displays of sound that, collectively as an album, emit an uncanny fusion of mechanical ferocity and ethereal enchantment.

MEGAMIX

I’ve came across the idea of Bby Postcards when I was creating a sound collage for my seminar’s project with Dr. Ress. The professor gave us a free hand to choose the way we want to approach the course. I’ve chosen techno culture and a creative approach.

Actually I found a short format collage something interesting and challenging in a way of the mulitple possibility of choices. It inspired me to expand a whole project called BBY POSTCARD which is approaching amazing DJs I encountered in my life and who I invite to send me sound postcards, free for interpretation from their side.

About 001: my postcard is a slower techno mix inspired by the journey I did as a raver and later as an artist. You can hear there some classics from 2016-18 that were played in the clubs in that time. Ofc some newer tracks are included too. 

I’d title my postcard techno meditation. 

Meditation is a skill I learned in past half a year, when I was healing and trying to find myself in the everyday life in the noisy and notoriously fast capital of Germany.

Delusional Void

Ghost Rush, DJ and producer from Portugal, moves between elements of techno, house and experimental electronica. 
It is through these musical genres that he finds an escape from the monotony of reality and the possibility to explore sonic landscapes.
The first EP titled "Monaural", appeared on the national label Underdub Records in 2016. In 2019 through the label Concepto Hipnotico, he releases the EP "Dimensional", ongoing with his approach to music production.
His sets are characterize by hypnotic beats, pulsating bass lines and sound design that move in the underground from Detroit to Berlin. 
A ghost that travels through techno landscapes.
